Find out how this stunning clay amphora can purify your tap water. This beautiful Roman style amphora, not only removes toxins such as chloride, nitrates and heavy metals from tap water, it also makes the water more alkaline, cools the water and makes it much more hydrating.

Been using my new amphora for a few weeks now and I can’t believe the difference in taste! Really pleased with it and now going to order a 1 litre pot so I’ve got access to pure water when I’m out and about. Really can’t recommend it enough!

Ooh, I not long ago stumbled upon your store and I'm in love! I've actually been looking for a water filtration system for a while; in September the UK government announced they were fully fluoridating the WHOLE of the UK :( Many studies, including, Harvard, show the neurological effects are dire. Among dental fluorosis, fluorosis of the bones etc. I have HF autism also, and so I take care to nurture my brain with food and herbs and avoiding heavy metals and such as much as I can, so I drink bottled water. But the plastic isn't good, of course. Would this remove fluoride? I know it's quite the difficult pest to filter out.

Hello, I'm learning about ceramic filtration and as I understand it, water is filtered through the pores of the vessel and the water that "sweats" out is clean, purified water. It might be worth it to test tap water, the water in the vessel after 8 hours, and the water that sweats out of the vessel.

Actually it is the other way round. We drink the water from inside the amphora and discard the water which sweets out of it! We have been able to observe the difference in the water quality in a few ways. Firstly the water from inside the amphora tastes fresh, has a fresh aroma and feels more liquid in the mouth. The water which sweets out is sour and at times has even smelt like stagnant pond water! The differences are so easy to establish, that testing the potable and non-potable water would be superfluous. I hope that helps. They work differently to clay filter pots, where water is effectively poured through the pot, and that which comes through is the water you drink...

@@NaturalSpaSupplies What do you think about adding other natural purifiers into the amphora? Such as activated charcoal and pure silver? There are also some herbal purifiers such as dandelion and cilantro

@@derrylew8843 You can add these products if you like, but it really isn't necessary - the amphoras work really well on their own. I would be inclined to keep the charcoal for teeth cleaning or for first aid for accidental poisoning and to keep your silver water at hand to combat infections.

Thank you for your answer above and wondering if you could answer this. If the amphoras work differently to clay filter pots, what makes them different? Aren't they both made of clay? Genuinely interested in hearing the answer to this

@@NaturalSpaSupplies I'm confused......they don't pour the water through the clay pot, they pour it in the pot and it seeps its way out into something to contain the, now, drinking water.

Are there any studies available that show how well an Amphora pot cleans water?

Yes, we have had our own tests done and some of the reductions are dramatic such as with chlorine and nitrates and reductions in heavy metals. When we test the amphora water we also send in a sample of the tap water. Our tap water come from a borehole and it is very clean. If our tap water had more impurities, we would see more dramatic test results.

I drink spring water. Would it be necessary for me to use a clay pot for that? Thank you and good day!

You are very fortunate to have access to spring water ! I think it would be better to use the amphora (I would). To start with, just because it is spring water doesn't mean it does not contain contaminants such as nitrates and heavy metals. The amphora will help to reduce those. Also you can keep water in the amphora for several days and the bacterial levels will stay at zero. Conversely in a plastic container, bacterial levels will increase. The clay amphora will help to maintain and enhance the natural energy found in the spring water and will retain its health giving benefits. I am not sure where you live, but if you contact us directly we can get a shipping quote to send you an amphora and you can take it from there...

Would it remove the lime from the water. Where we live there is so much lime in the water!

No it doesn't really remove much lime from the water. The limescale you are referring to is composed of about 10 or 12 mineral compounds, - it is better if you drink this mineralised water, leaving them in the water.
