I'd love to see what people would think at that meet if someone made and took "Masutangu 2.0" there. It's the basically the same concept, but instead of using Honda Civic underpinnings, they used a Ford Probe instead. The Probe was essentially a rebodied Mazda MX6 that was supposed to be the successor to the Mustang, but after some market testing, Ford discovered that it would be a terrible idea, went back to the drawing board, revised the Fox platform and introduced the SN95 to the world in 1994. It would still be a FWD Japanese car with an American body plopped onto it, but everything has an OEM Ford badge and part number on it.

Not my thing but I’ve followed the build, you took a civic and two old stands that were probably headed for scrap and turned it into something different. You enjoy it and it annoys people in a good way….awesome

As I’ve grown older I’ve gone from a “thats a terrible thing to do” mindset to a “whatever you can dream make it real” attitude I’ve watched him build the car and the car’s character evolve and it’s been a wild ride. As a musician as well as a car enthusiast, I say well done! Hot rodding guitars and cars often have many similarities. Most times its much easier to do custom modifications rather than trying to source all the "correct" vintage parts. Especially considering the cost involved of doing so. In the end, it is all about passion and making old stuff come back to life with a purpose and a vision. I can appreciate period correct examples that stay true to the originals, but at the same time, its not always a feasible option. Sometimes ya just gotta improvise and make it work to suit your own preferences and style. Keeo doing it, Brother!

Not into many Frankenstein projects as a whole, but I completely respect the build and appreciate all makes and models. Love all vtec Honda motors, love most V8s, love each to be in their respective makes but I like your car.

If I went to a car show and saw this I'd say "How'd this guy get a hold of the 2028 Mustang concept?" before I thought long enough to realize that any future car is going to have batteries.

Surprises me how many people go to car shows and not know anything about cars and have no respect for anybody's build it's not my cup of tea but pretty cool build even better build because it has a Honda engine

I used to go to car shows all the time but I (mostly) stopped when I realized that everyone has the same set of cars with the same sets of engines in them. Every vintage car show just felt like a copy-paste from the last one and it got so boring so quickly. THANK YOU for adding variety to these shows and showing these purists that they don't need to have the most OEM unreliable basic bitch cars like everyone else to fit in
