Note that O-rings can be replaced with matching Viton rings however sourced. When I get a rebuild kit I measure OD, ID and thickness which lets you cross check to ensure you use a correct replacement.

They are excellent torches (I have at least three of them) and well worth fixing with a seal kit. The Oxweld/Purox/Linde/L-tec/ESAB torches are proven since the earliest days of OA welding and have great ergonomics. I prefer them to my Victors and rate them even with Smith. Seal Seat (also an old company) sell parts and have a downloadable catalog. Torches, tips and parts are plentiful on Ebay. Those not wanting to tackle the work can have their local welding supply send their torch or regulator off for rebuilding.

I too need to rebuild my old torches: a Oxweld; Linde W-200. I like many cannot find the parts, / rebuild kits. No where on ebay, amazon etc.! If you know of sources for the rebuild kits, please share where you find rebuild kits for my torches and other old torches. Thanks a bunch!

You have an extra o-ring because you re-installed the old one. Watch your video and you will see it was right after you found that o-ring hiding in the ziplock baggy.😂

Just picked up a Purox W-200 at a flea market and I'm going to be going through a similar process. Have you fired yours up?
