LYS beauty has a blush trio with a purple shade and they model the shades on several different skin tones and undertones and they look like they would actually work on a lot of people. fenty beauty also has a cream blush in the website exclusive shade drama cla$$ that’s a vibrant purple. i have this one and it’s a super pretty true purple with no white base.

The first one is beautiful but it has white shade in it so it won’t work on dark brown skins, it will wash the cheeks out.

so you’re saying that for them to work on darker skins it has to be a more vibrant pigment? if so, are these only meant for lighter tones? cus i think if a fair skinned person wears something like this they will look sickly? idk

@@_3.14 it's vibrant enough, it's the shade and undertone that won't work for dark skins as I said it has white base in it which makes it work for lighter cool skintones but on brown skin it will look chalky. And one shade doesn't work for everyone, if a shade doesn't work you don't have to make it work for you just chose another one that suits you better.

These look very pretty on. I am fair medium with freckles, am 54 and have auburn hair. The blend out is beautiful so don't get scared. A little goes a long way.

⁠@@curiousme113 she’s seemed to lie bout products just to make brand deals. Also saw a video from another creator saying that Mikalya doesn’t understand how brands arnt more inclusive, but then make’s products that arnt inclusive, aka these purple blush don’t work for darker toned skin.

⁠⁠⁠@@karlyethibodeaux2754you don’t have to make every product inclusive, not everybody is gonna have something that works for them, I mean she literally isn’t even of color so I wouldn’t expect her to make products for colored people, and even if she was she doesn’t need to, she makes stuff that works for people who share a similar skin tone to her, but her lying in this brand deals are reasonable to be upset about.

On one side I feel that this tones will look good on me, if used in moderation I have a very light skin. But on the other… what if the purple looks like someone hit me? That’s the only reason I never tried a purple blush the closest was pink magenta that’s suits me.

A tip for black people: I saw a black woman (I think with dark skin) test a purple blush, and it looked very pretty. I'm not sure about this blush since it's quite light, but if you're a black person, you can try it

Look at one of itslikelymakeup's blush palettes. Blush can be any color you want to put on your face. Makeup is fun.

@@nightmareonyrst333 oh I agree that makeup is fun and I love it so much but as for me wearing purple blush I’m too old. I feel like I’d look like one of those old women trying to look young if I wore all those beautiful colorful colors. Now my daughter on the other hand who is only 27 looks so cute with all those different colors on her cute face. She and other young ladies and gents can pull wearing colors like that off but sadly I don’t feel I ever could pull off wearing purple blush. But I do think it’s gorgeous💜
