Simply brilliant

Leading lights of the mod revival scene 79, got all three singles from that year, all gems, but the album ' Take That' never lived up to the early promise of those 45's.

Saw them a couple of days ago with the Skids supporting Bruce Foxton and the boys From the Jam at the O2 in London cracking night!

One of the best mod tune remember riding my 50 special this playing on my Walkman happy days

Lyrics are spot on almost relevant for today.

I'm 17, a multi-instrumentalist, studying Level 3 music at college, related to Ray and Dave davies (of the kinks) and hate the new 'hip-hop' and rap crap - anything mainstream for that matter now. Bring back the good stuff.

@Khultan easy enough, research alot of research, i got mates who were in the 80s revival and me dad was from london area so he helps me with wat goes n' not. but i hv been brought up with scoots neway lol after u read the 60s mods book then u get a gd idea of wat to aim for, like boating blazer, narrow trousers with a pair of hush puppies or borgues go quite well together :P once u get the style rite ppl look at u strangely in a puzzling way lol but they may think its kwl n' pick it up.

i used to play bass, but not anymore everyone from my hometown wanted to play red hot chilli peppers or the wombats or something, sad cuz there's so much music to be played but no 1 18 - 25 wants to play outside their cumfort zone... i'll always love the blues and tap to it, if thats any good lol

You, however, are young and maybe you can try to get your generation to pick up instruments but bring on the music that is derived from rhythm n blues, rock n roll, soul, that other genres, punk rock, heavy metal, new wave, etc. blotted out. Do you have a desire to play guitar? Piano? Please do....
