I used to think this scrapbooking trend was so awesome and pretty. Now that this was suddenly in my feed, I have a completely different perspective… the whole time now I’m thinking it’s such a waste of paper and plastics. (Also coz this trend no longer uses scraps, but purchases from shops specialising in these special “materials”) I guess the trend for me now is sustainability and less waste. 😅

It’s not a waste if the products/materials are being used for their intended purpose. Just like how you don’t waste paper by reading, or yarn by knitting, or pens by writing.

I think that’s the point of scrapbooking, you don’t need to write anything down, the images you use say everything you need them too.

Better to collect the materials from scraps to make it creative n decoration..rather purchasing...if it's all about to purchase and create a scrap...it's better to purchase such a ready made book for use ....
