I know I'm in the minority here, but I've personally been happy with Arrow. It hasnt been to the same level as prior years, but I've picked up quite a bit from them. The LE sets of Carrie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and City of the Living Dead from the UK. Then the upgrades for Dark Water, Basketcase and the upcoming Crimson Peak. Granted there haven't been a lot of new titles and more upgrades, but what they've released has been solid.

I am happy with Arrow’s July announcements - ordered last star fighter, Man from Uncle. I can forgive Arrow pretty much anything because they are releasing 4K of on of very favourite films on 4K in June - Withnail and I. I picked up their US 4k of Hugo a couple of months ago Absolutely brilliant. Another good episode - every time I see you you seem to have less hair😂

Man from Unkle is a very good movie. Very under-rated. Glad it is getting a big box treatment. Ken, just because you haven't heard or seen some of the titles doesn't mean they are not exciting. There is so many boutique labels out there so the noted titles are spread out. Besides, many studio's have contracts with certain boutique labels so the titles are tied up like Disney which includes Fox titles.

Yeah they did, I'm getting the Crimdon Peak because I love the art and the movie, and Del Toro, but at this point I'd rather them do some Reprints of Robocop or something if they're running out of exciting old titles.

On april fools day, arrow posted about having a deal with either canon, wb, full moon or Disney, and then then they announced man from uncle which is a Warner title and last starfighter which is Warner as well hopefully means we might be getting an arrow nightmare set

I'm definitely hyped about Man from U. N. C. L. E. Great movie, and, for me, this will be a double dip. Great cast and great music. Lots of fun! I'm also very interested in Purple Rain, but I'd like to wait for the reviews to see how good the sound is.

The man from Uncle is good! I bought the blu ray at Dollar Tree last year. And I was so impressed with it, I might pick up the Arrow release

Any form of high-quality physical media should be supported. You are going to miss out on a lot of great physical titles by having that attitude about limited addition 4k steelbooks only. Most of the studios are going this route because most people buying physical media are pretty much only us collectors. So for them to continue making physical media, it isn't worth it for them to make 100,000's standard releases, but if they make just a few high cost limited addition steelbooks, it just makes more sense. So good luck collecting physical media in the future because that's what's happening. If everyone had your attitude about high cost limited addition steelbooks and didn't buy them, the studios would definitely STOP, making physical and go completely streaming.

Death and the Maiden is such good thriller. So glad that its on the way. I also got Red Rock Westl and Dogfight from Criterion coming. I'm sure Arrow will blow our socks off later again.

Arrow had wolf of wall street, shawscope vol 2, videodrome, robin hood prince of thieves and flatliners in second half of 2022 so hardly a wasted year. Prob will end up better than what we get this year the way things are going so far.

I personally love Man from UNCLE and have been begging for it for a while now. Not everyone just wants old horror movies. People have different tastes. Most of the movies you get hyped about, I've never even heard of.

We're getting too many titles releasing right now imo. I think everyone could slow down and spread it out more because more is coming out than the vast majority of us can buy. It especially sucks when we miss out on limited print runs of certain titles, then they go for so much on the aftermarket that several end up just missing out.

I’d buy the mean girls 4K if it had a slipcover in the UK, we’re getting a steelbook but £30 for a film I have never seen on a packaging type I don’t like is a hard sell, the only steelbooks I own are X, the jump street films and reservoir dogs on 4K, because the x and jump street was cheap and the only way I could get the 4Ks (despite having to import from Germany) and reservoir dogs is a film I loved enough to bite the bullet and get the steelbook

Before all of you keep asking where are all these comedy's on 4k. We all should be asking why on gods green earth. The bluray format has been on the market for over 15 years now. We still don't have more catalog titles available on bluray or 4k. That only still only available on DVD still to this day. And the real reason why there are still not alot of catalog titles still available on 4k. Bc the 4k market sales are only around 10 to 12 percent in the market sales. Compared to bluray witch is around 25 to 30 percent in the market sales. So until the 4k market sales are closer to the bluray market sales. So until the 4k market sales are closer to the bluray market sales. So don't be shocked or asking why don't we have more catalog titles available on 4k

Will never buy another Arrow release. They sent me two copies of Conan at $70 and change. I’ve tried for weeks to get a refund from their mistake, to no avail they were with horrible customer service and their return policies no easy task. So over $140 dollars and an extra copy of the cronicles edition which I have to try to sell. Great video thanks ! Sorry for the rant but a bummer experience as I don’t even want to watch the movies anymore.

I don't know if alot of folks want to spend money to get comedy movies on 4k. Unless they price these 4k films at $9.99. I had the opportunity to buy The Big Lebowski on 4k for $7.99 and i didnt because im happy with the blu ray which i purchased for $3.99. I get why folks would shell money for classic films, cult movies, sci-fi, horror or James Cemeron. And I'm curious if Arrow video are finding that their production costs are not meeting the demand and profit to pump more limited edition stuff. I'm hearing the market is shrinking and it's a collectors market at this point. I don't wanna be negative but after Best Buy discontinuing physcial media, it only hurts the curiosity for customers to explore physcial media than support it.

I wouldn't say $9.99 but on the cheaper end, relative to scifi etc, likely would be a good move. We obviously want everything in 4K but most comedies aren't particularly know for their visuals/sound, hence many people being ok with the dvd or bluray That said, I'm sure the color palette for Anchorman is gonna look great in HDR

@chrisjfox8715 Agreed Chris! I do like to see older stuff get more 4k restorations. There was a video recently by a gentleman who was Aka Films at Home and he mentioned 4k is not a big deal. But honestly, I don't agree if the film needs restoration and a clean scan to commemorate and honor the integrity of the film's legacy. Anchorman would be an ideal candidate to showcase the color palette that the film possess.

"Smoke" is good but "Blue in the Face” is awful. “Blue” Was shot between takes of “Smoke” with some of the same cast. All the lines are improvised, which sounds interesting, but in this case it doesn’t work. No one could think of anything interesting or funny to say. But it does absolutely belong in the same package.

Arrow video has just been going downhill fast. They have good transfers and mostly good sets but just getting greedy like Warner Brothers now. Not to mention quality from them directly has gone to crap. Need better quality control, customer service, returns, correct orders, they are just lacking across the board.
