Excellent review, thanks for sharing! This is the type of review I've been looking for; a very through analysis and comparison of at least two Purple seat cushions. I thought Purple offered only one seat cushion, but, was surprised to see seven types available. Your video confirmed my initial decision to go with the ultimate, in addition to the Purple pillow. Some things are worth more when it comes to comfort, father always told me get what you want the first time, it costs more the second time (buying something and than buying what you original wanted to get but choose for cheaper). I can understand the need for a comfortable seat tho, I travel a lot (by no means trucker standards regularly) but Mississippi to North Dakota and back is still 26 hours straight best case one way and you really start to feel it after the 10 hour mark.

I’m a trucker and I just got one today. It’s so much more comfortable for the 11 hours in the holy chair

I'm sitting at the PC on a "Royal" from Purple (thanks to your initial review). Thanks Craig. --- My 2 cents... I've probably got a Benjamin on you weight-wise. For heavier dudes... get the "Ultimate" from Purple.. no question. The "Royal" is awesome... for average weighted folks. For heavier guys/gals, the Royal is not quite thick enough for longer stretches. That said, I sit on a Royal for hours in the office... and it's a true comfort. --- Just my 2 cents. --- Glad you're still making videos! --- Stay safe.

I bought the Ultimate and currently drive a Kenworth T680. I also have the Simply. Both are too small for the seats in this Kenworth. I still use them, but they are about 3-4 inches too short to cover from back to front. Width is good though.

I think that in the instructions they say to not leave the seat cushion on the car when its above 105 farenheit (which probably inside cars that temperature its easy reachable)

Thank you for sharing. I can see this is honest review. I want to improve my inflatable kayak seat. The back is inflatable but inside the botom are 7 layers of 4mm foam squares. I could take them out and put purple cushion in. What would you recommend?

I’m thinking throw the smaller one over on the passenger seat , then take it out for the 4 wheeler when I’m home ..... one last thing....... are you using the gopro 7 to film ?? Probably THE nicest quality video I’ve seen in a long time .... check the app called MYK it’s a app you can use external mic and it will make your videos PERFECT !!!

Any issues on the edge under the legs? Blood flow issues seem to be a problem with a lot of cushions I've tried.

I love, love, love this cushion!!! I have coxcic tail bone issues and sciatic nerve as well. This seat cushion has changed my life. No more pain as my tailbone never touches the surface of a chair any more. I have purchased 6 of these. 1 for every lower back pain sufferer in my family. I am so happy I found this item to help me and my elders escape the daily suffering we had been going through for many years! I hate the purple bed but LOVE the seat cushion. An added bonus for short people like myself is with the added height to my seat I now have better posture and can see over my steering wheel in my truck!!!!!

Which way is the ultimate supposed to face with that dip towards the back or.front?

Yo, I'm from 2020. It seems Purple at some point changed the cover of the Simply Seat Cushion. It's actually much better now, and even feels premium rather than cheap. The top is very soft and stretchy, while the grip was changed entirely. It's got a hex shaped grip that doesn't seem to fall off as easy as the original dots.

Maybe it's hot because of the cover? It's look to be polyester, so that would keep heat in. A 100% cotton pillowcase should help.

You cant use these in a car because they are only rated for 105f! IF you use it in the car and it will melt!
