Just wanted to share a little about my work and why I do what I do, where I get my creativity and inspiration. Also, why I love watercolor painting, and my philosophy as an artist and creator.

Big round of applause for the planting of trees🌲Trees are our greatest natural renewable resource. My company planted over 400,000 tree seedlings last year. Keeping our forests green and healthy, not just for us, but also for the generation that will come when our time has passed.

I will update it as questions arise. - To anyone who is from WA, you will know Okanogan is generally pronounced ‘Oka-noggin’ - I realize I said it rather oddly, my mother is a non native English speaker and she has always said it that way, and it seems it stuck! I can never manage to say it right! Apologies to the locals 🙈 - one shot in this video was taken with the help of my friend last year, the rest is my own work 🤍 - I have put captions in English and Spanish, yay! I definitely agree with StopListenThink - it did not seem awkward at all! The only thing that made it potentially seem like you might've found it uncomfortable were the sighs and leaving the frame quickly in the end! But no - it's great watching you speak. The face behind the voice becomes more alive!

I think it's fun, just working towards incorporating some of these ideas and projects, into our homes, wherever they might be. Bringing a little calm, into ours homes, even if they're in the centre of the city. Although, trying my hand at watercolours was a challenge, with several cats who were only to willing and eager, to help out!

Ok, so last week at school we played a game called “zoomed”. There was a slideshow of pictures and they were all zoomed in very close. The point of the game was to try and guess what the picture was before it zoomed out to its normal size. One of the pictures was a rosemary plant and I immediately guessed it on the first try. I won that round and yelled “ THANK YOU COTTAGE FAIRY!”

To all those subscribers who so graciously responded to my feeling safe in a library. After decades of abuse both as a child and an adult, I struggle constantly with both PTSD and chronic complex PTSD. The acute stage is lessening, but I will never get beyond the chronic complex. Since I am a widow now and have grown children who have families of their own, I finally have the opportunity to create a lifestyle with which I can easily cope. A cottage in the woods, families of deer, all the supplies I need delivered to my door, my baby grand piano (I am a classically trained musician), needlework, and of course reading and writing near my fireplace. This environment enables me to deal with my "disabilities", and gives me peace at long last. Your comments were a treasure. Thank you.

I may be old but I still feel like a child at times, or I remember how it felt. I play with grandbabies and enjoy kids parties. People tell me I missed my calling by not being a kindergarten teacher. I was told this by a principal of a private school and others. I chose the business path in life. Human Resources Administrator. The stress became too much at 50. I needed to lean on trees, lay on the ground, put my head against a rock monument. I still believe in fairies. Take photos of fairy chairs in nature. Photo of beautiful natural mosaics of shells, rocks, weeds. ❤❤❤

Here in Northern MN, we have had subzero Temps for the last several weeks. So I totally understand the desire for spring right now. But, as I can't wait for green, as long as it's above zero I deal with it by going on long walks, and taking pictures of the beauty around me. I really love the quiet pace of your videos

I'm in the nursery business so I very gratefully applaud your planting of trees, something always done with the next generation or two in mind. My favorite place in nature is a mature hardwood forest, like the fully tree lined sand dunes here by Lake Michigan's east coast. These many stands make for spectacular hiking any time of year. And yes, I too expect the planting of those 200 new clean air machines are just the beginning.

My childhood dreams were used to be all about riches and money. Because that was what I was taught by the elders. But they never taught me about the real meaning of life and the beauty of the earth. And as I grow older, I realized it's not the money and a luxury life that I want. And your videos gave me the answers to all of my questions of what I really want and how I wanted my life to be. And that is a simple life with a peaceful mind. Thank you for existing ❤

if ANYONE in the world deserves to go viral, it is you. You artistry is breath taking. Yet that is the least of what I perceive as your talents. The calm vision that you bring to the world is so refreshing, I simply love it, and have mentioned your channel to several friends. Vocally, you are on par with David Attenborough. Please consider narrating nature films!!! The children you teach are so fortunate, it makes me wish to go back to school, but I am 64. Also as a person living in British Columbia, thank you for planting trees here. All the best, from me to the BEST.

I think what you said about realizing your dreams sometimes can only be fulfilled as hobbies, and then find something else you can make a living from while still doing little things that inspire you is really, really important. I was about to say "I can't wait" for your picture book to come out-but actually I can and will. Your art is your meditation. So I hope pe it takes you however long you need to finish it; I will be here patiently waiting.

I really appreciate people like her who are on the same vibration. Unfortunately, i am surrounded by many people who never understood simplicity of the life and have no consideration for others but their own interests. They want material things to prove their value, they want to take things from others to make themselves feel better. They call themselves spiritual but have no patience and true understanding of the life. I feel so small living the biggest room in the house. Your videos make peace in my life.

That so great that you are helping replant the forest. We had devastating fire in Oregon. It is so sad to see all tree burned and being cut down. The poor animals. I hope they start replanting soon. Take care. Your art is amazing
