Love your artwork. I'm guessing it's possible to use a pursuit curve inside of any shape? I do believe this has inspired something.

Wouldn't a thinner sharpie allow for more detail in your artwork? Is the preference of a larger tip an art thing or an ASMR thing?

It's more of an ASMR thing. The thicker marker makes a louder sound.

If your rubbish at free hand is it cheating to use a set of (French curves) and a compass to produce a really nice big one of these on a huge piece of Fabriano paper.

I don't believe there is cheating in ART! (unless you steal art) But, using tools to make is is just as much art as making art without. Art is the process as much as it is the finished piece. Break out those french curves and straight edges and what ever else you want to experiment with. :-)

That's good to hear, because I'm an engineer and though free hand is a flight of fantasy of architects with me it's procedure black and white, it will eventuate, like the transition of monochrome black and white to technicolor in the wizard of oz, that free hand drawing is achievable without the need for rulers.
