I noticed the same thing when I was doing some reading. Based on what I’m seeing so far, this event is unchanged. Now I see why they brought in recommended PR. We were doing these events so cheap originally! 😃 Modern day Recommended PR stops us from doing bot slowing as early as end of stage 1 (with no upgrades). Now I’m curious how cheap I can actually do this event. I’m going to hold off on upgrades until I absolutely need them.

I think R$ upgrades is what you need to finish this event. I checked Real Racing Guru and Maestro Geek.

Yes. I believe it’s the first time this event has run since its origin, 8.5 years ago. Shouldn’t require any goal to earn this, unless they’ve change some thing.

Found out by a channel named real racing guru

The majority of that is collecting here and there. Weekly time trials, a tiny bit from online multiplayer, levelling up & series completion rewards. Also, I am not buying cars at all. I’m saving this account for just earning cars and making videos. I did buy a currency pack that had 132 gold in it I believe. I am reinvesting some of my KZfaq earnings in this new profile. There was no way I could’ve earned the Ferrari FXX K without spending some actual money. Hopefully I won’t need to do that anymore, but I’m willing to.

I wasn’t sure if you were joking or not so I didn’t answer initially. Maybe you’re not joking. You could try to quit and retry to see if that makes it easier. If not, just run the race again and again, finishing in last place every single time. It will get easier and easier each time.

⁠@@ommptuga I haven’t had trouble not spending R$ so far. However, you earn a lot in this event so buying some R$ isn’t bad. Also, you can earn a lot of currency with this car. I would be prepared to buy all R$ upgrades which will be at R$760,100.

Actually, you’re missing the point here. In normal videos I don’t do that. My Group A time trial video is very much to the point. However, for bot slowing and bot maintenance purposes, you have to drag out the races. If you don’t, then it gets very difficult later on typically. If the race is long, then I usually cut that out, just like you’re saying. For instance, there was a 9 minute 4 lap race that I cut down to 1 lap for viewing purposes.
