as a photographer with ADHD, hearing how his mother described Curran's struggle with staying focused and shutting down connect extra hard. this is why i love this series; the human connection element makes for an unforgettable part with endless replay value.

Too bad there wasnt more of skating (meaning getting clips for the part) in this video, but its really cool to see how Curren has progressed. Hes my fav skater for sure and I cant wait to see the full street part.

fuck that, then dont give him a list of tricks that he needs to do for a part.... easy fix to release the pressure off of him... Just put Louie with him, and take them to dope ass spots and let them feed off each other and film it.... Eliminate the pressure. Curren rips dude! hes like Colin Provost, these kids just naturally flow, its truly fun to watch them skate. They love it, you can see it in their skating, thats what its always been about people. Did you forget? (Hey Nike!? Did you forget!!??)

I wouldn't say controlling, more like Governing and good parenting IMO (same thing kinda, but different).. They gave him great opportunities / and encouraged him, then had to make choices on whats best for his future (because he was a child) based on Companies wanting a piece of him. In other words, they HAD to govern aspects of his life which I think your taking as "controlling". I image today he makes the choices, but takes their advice.
