MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME

MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME

2 жыл бұрын

Pusha T and the crew go way back, the Philly roots run deep in this episode. Whether in the studio with Ye or The Neptunes, Pusha is making magic happen on the mic. Nothing diet about this episode, we talked about the music, the moves and everything in between.
The Million Dollaz Worth of Game show, a weekly podcast with rapper Gillie Da King and social media influencer and disruptor Wallo267 (who are also first-cousins) targeting their combined social media presence of over 1.3 million followers.
Gillie and Wallo’s audiences have been demanding a podcast and this is the delivery. For their audience, the Million Dollaz Worth of Game show bridges the gap between social media and reality tv, satiating the hunger for original and authentic content.

I’m only 5 minutes into this interview and I’m hype. Y’all don’t understand that Philly/VA connection go deep. Gillie and Push go back from Major Figgaz and Clipse early days. S/O to Ad Liva and Sandman (Philly marksman).

Don't forget the clipse and most wanted was a group.. called the rat pack. Roscoe P Coldchain was signed to star trak. That Va-Philly connection is strong...

That’s the difference between quality and quantity. Quality always wins . That’s why a lot of the artists that we grew up on are STILL AROUND and some of the newer artists come in hot but fizzle out fast.
@nimmha6708
@nimmha6708 2 жыл бұрын
Should be like that.. but uhm.. Quantitiy seems to win more often. Turn on the radio or TV. BOOM quantity over everything. Even KZfaq's whole system is based on "consistancy" instead of quality.. I wish you was right though. Quality should be valued more than ANY quantity.
@jamesdeschef
@jamesdeschef 2 жыл бұрын
@@nimmha6708 yes but you and I both know that real hip-hop doesn’t get radio play anyway. I can’t tell you the last time I Rockdale to the radio. But just because songs are played on the radio doesn’t mean that these artist with actual skill aren’t making it. They’re touring and getting Hella love from their fans. That’s why real hip-hop has no the difference between classics and waves. Not saying that these newer artist don’t have hits but they might be here this year and gone the next. Bottom line is, the 90s era was stamped by originality. If you came out sounding like the last dude that did it you got clowned on. Nowadays everyone follows the same format, similar Sounding tracks to the point where unless you already know what a specific artist sounds like you can honestly say you can tell some of these artist apart. Especially when it comes to using auto tune. LOL. Not that using auto tune is bad but when you do it purposefully to sound like the hottest thing out, to me that’s just riding The coattails of the last man that did it. It’s like they’re afraid to sound original or to step out of their comfort zone even though the fans would love to hear a new album and not a recirculated one. But you’re definitely right about how social media and KZfaq push the formula of quantity which I understand… But if there’s no quality to it it’s not really worth putting out in my opinion. But you’re right, if you don’t stay consistent you will not stay relevant
