It's crazy when you realize that this verse and "Victory" were 2 of the last songs he ever recorded("Victory" being the very last). It shows he hadn't even reached his peak yet. His flow was just getting smoother and smoother. What a shame.

@@MUFC20 What? Dude Big was the King of Syllables, word plays, double entendre all made his flows impeccable. This man flows are stupid... His multiple syllables on every bar which simultaneously rhymed within the Double Entendre scheme. *Jesus,* the *Notorious* just *Please us* with your *lyrical thesis* We just *chilling,* *milk 'em,* * "Top Billin'"* Silk and, pure *linen,* me and, Lil' *Cease * Malibu sea *breeze,* *Dom P's,* * palm trees* Cats named *Pablo* in milked out *Diablos* (that's right) The *williest* (what?) bitches be the *silliest* The more I smoke, the smaller the Phillie gets *Room 112,* where the players *dwell* And stash more cash than Bert Padell, inhale Make you feel good like Tony Toni Tone (feels good) Dick up in your middle like Monie (yes) She don't know but she setting up to blow me (yes) Try to style, flying north with a homey (yes) *Escada,* * Don Dada,* player, stay *splurging* Game so tight they call it *virgin* This is just minor example.

@MUFC20 5 жыл бұрын
Jam Rock Sorry for not being clear, I meant that he mostly used one or two syllable words. That and he didn’t put much substance in his lyrics, it was mostly “money, cash, hoes”. That said, when Big was killed he was still very young and immature and I’m sure if he lived longer he would’ve dropped works with much greater content and subject matter.
@kingnaldo4058
@kingnaldo4058 5 жыл бұрын
@@MUFC20 The only thing *Pac* had on *Big,* is the *Message* that's it. So if you want to use that single method as why you think he's better that's fair... See *Big* was a street rapper, *Pac* wasn't, he pretended to be. So *Big* created his lane by doing *Mafioso Street Hustling Rap* which includes the *Money, Cars and Hoes* and it works. Since *Big* started this lane, most Rappers ran with it, even in today's rap. However the art of Rhyming and being a Rapper goes to Big, by a landslide... First off Big delivered his Rhymes better than anyone in the history of rap, with *Cadences* that are second to none. He says more with less words that any *Rapper* which allows him to placed his syllables in odds places within the bar structure, so precisely that his lyrics sounds more harder than other rappers. His Storytelling ability is world class, with the injection of Big words and Phrases that'll *Thrill You.* His Flows are second to none and rides the beat better that anyone including Pac, who tends used too much words within bar structure to get his point across. What makes *Big tha Best Ever* is, he's doing all of this without a *Pen* or a *Pad* from the top of his dome. *Big* lyrics have been recycled by more rappers in the history of raps. Most rapper are still using his *Rhymes Schemes* and *Boastful, Mafioso drug dealing, Versace and Coogi* elements in their raps. When asked why he doesn't write his lyrics down, he says it's confusing to read it back and maintain the same *Inflections* throughout, because to him most rappers records sounds like they're reading instead of rhyming. So he eliminate such impediments to deliver better sounding potent rhymes, than anyone else. *Pac* is the most *Iconic* *Biggie* is both the *Best* and *Most Influential* rapper ever.💯👍

I think best rapper is a perfect title for Big. There’s a difference between greatest and best. Maybe his life was cut short too soon for him to be the greatest bc I have to consider longevity and the body of work. I certainly think he was the best rapper ever just with the lyricism, versatility and his ability to be mainstream and street credible simultaneously. There’s never been a rapper as good as him at any one point in time.

Pusha T says he mimics Biggie 100% on Hell Hath No Fury. Pusha asked: What would BIG do? I think the verse which proves this most is on Ride Around Shining. Read these rhymes and tell me Pusha is not channeling BIG. "The black Martha Stewart, Let me show you how to do it Break down pies to pieces, make cocaine quiches Money piles high as my nieces Hefty bags full of cash, cars full of ass Rolex presidential, bitch, feel the glass". Now imagine Biggie doing that verse and you'd have thought he wrote it.

Yea, and what’s sad is that when you listen to his verses from that Puff Daddy album, you could tell that he was getting BETTER. I believe that those were the last songs he did before he passed. At that time he was on a WHOLE other level. He had evolved. The first verse from “Victory”, is another favorite. RIP BIG.

Bmore24 t I always say and this is just my opinion. B.I.G. is the better mc. He has a better flow and different flows. Listen to Juicy and then Notorious Thugs, but 2pac is not just a rapper. He is a artist who influenced a lot of young people to stand up for there rights. They were two great people who were too young to die and are a great inspiration to me, as a 18 year old.
