Pushing the Pace | Speedskater and Street Skater mic’ed up in New York City (rollerblading)

In this video I link up with two of my favorites: @clope24 and Angelia. We start on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and first go uptown before heading east and taking Park Ave all the way down.
Thank you so much for your patience with this one guys, I fixed some of the issues that were addressed in the feedback ya'll gave. This should be a smoother experience for all involved.
Big ups to Christian for filming, and a big thank you to Angelia for being game to chase me around NYC for a few hours.

It's so cool seeing the difference in your skating styles. I prefer Ari's style - that hockey / wizard stuff is so playful. BUT ... there's no denying the efficiency of Angelia's stride! And so cool seeing the streets, traffic and architecture ...Awesome vid, guys :) And top marks to Christian - how he keeps up AND does all that camera wizardy is nuts!

Love the NYC content. Eventually, I will skate on the streets too. For now, I’m keeping a low profile in the parks. Stuttering skater makes rollerblading so entertaining. He’s one of my influencers. Love Donut Plants in NYC. Music and scenes blends great together.❤

I'm convinced that Ari came out of the womb with blades on. :D I'm demi-ace, so I absolutely love your friendship. :) Allos will call it flirting, and you're a couple, but all I see is a close platonic friendship where you two are comfortable around each other, have good chemistry and a mutual interest. :) You love the other, but you're not *in love* with them. I adore that. :) And you two make skating look like floating, and I'm jealous! My skating needs a lot of work - especially with transitions and backwards skating. I can jump, but going backwards at any kind of decent speed? Nope. What you two have is goals for me, honestly. Previous comment said they run deep as a part of human history, and they do. Those connections to others are incredibly important. And Christina keeping up with you guys? A King right there.

It’s called a double 3 turn (from ice skating basic skills course USFS (also ISU) 9:20 ish A three turn is on one foot, double 3 turn is a two foot turn. --> Because your ice blade would draw an image of two 3’s in the ice

As someone who has been ice skating for 20 years but hasn't really gotten into rollerblading, how do you stop quickly? or can you? With ice skates you just pin on the edge and can stop instantly and that's what gives me the confidence to do crazy stuff and go fast, i dont see a similar thing on rollerblades though and I think thats why I havent gotten into it even though it looks fun

I want to skate on inlines on the road, but the reason I can't do this is that my city is very bad for bicycles, skateboards, and inline skating. ;D There are always traffic jams, narrow roads, and sidewalks that are too bad-you can easily fall down because of holes. And they are always 'fixing' roads XD. I wonder if they will ever finish fixing the roads someday XD. And also car owners are very bad, they're do not give a fuck if they will hit someone on the road :| (But I'll try someday inline skating. I really want to try. :d)

Guys you need to wear something to make you more visible especially at evening ! Please make safety a priority as your video are watched by kids and they later follow/copy what they see (now they see a guy who doesn't take safety on roads much seriously).
