Been wanting Gipsy Avenger for a while now. I know they weren't teased, but I've been wanting Scunner and Raiju models for a while too.

I do have Raiju and Scunner models, although they're not super detailed. So I will have to sculpt a lot more than I did for Otachi and Leatherback. If anyone has any additional models ripped from the PS3 game, I'd love to see them.

Discovered this pack recently, and I can't wait to try them out ! I opened the files already to take a look at them, the only problem I noticed so far is that the two kaijus don't have any controllers and bones for the eyes, which can be problematic. Personnally, this is something I can easily add myself for my animations, but I thought it was important to mention. Maybe if you plan to update the pack in the future, you can add these controllers. Other than that, the rigs and models look very cool ! Thank you for making them available and for free !

Thanks for the feedback. I can't remember if I'd tried with these models or not, but in Rigify (which is what I use for most characters) it's not easy to rig the eyes of non-humanoid characters. I'll see what I can do in the future.

Adrian, you're doing a service only a few (you alongside Dwarftastic) have done for Mecha and Kaiju 3d animators. I cannot express the elation I had when watching through this video. I will graciously use these rigs to practice my creature and hard surface animation for portfolio and just plain fun. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.

@@AdrianParkinsonFilms Is there a way we could talk over some feedback I have for these Jaeger rigs? From an animator - to - animator perspective, I have a few suggestions that will help make these rigs easier for you to make (less constraint suffering) and make future iterations more flexible (which will be a challenge with the more agile Mark 6-7 Jaegers). I'm looking forward to your future rigs!

Also messing around with the rig but the surface deform modifier doesn't work while rendering. (stomach) (this is the gispy danger rig btw)

@@AdrianParkinsonFilms The stomach area doesn't render properly. And defaults too the original position instead of following the rig. This isn't a problem with the other rigs for some reason.

Thanks, although they aren't fully my models. All I've done is give them more detail and the Blender rigs. The real credit should go to people like DwarFTastic and the modelers who worked on the old PS3 game.

First of all, you're a literal saint. Second of all, pls continue this, this is like my and many ohter's dream. And finally, I wanted say that, Striker Eureka is missing his iconic WMB2x90 Anti-Kaiju Missile Launcher from his chest (The weapon he used to kill that bloody 'Mutavore', whyyyyy, why did 'Mutavore have to kill Vulcan Specter and Echo Saber, whyyyyy), no hate, just wanted to know, was it intentional (Maybe because it is too hard to make) or did you forget it (No hate), If you can we, the people, would really love the new addition (BTW, when's the next episode coming, if you can let us know?) Thank you, for being a great guy

Because the model was originally taken from the Terra Virtua site, not modeled by me. Their model didn't include it an it would have been complex to make, so I left it out.

Yeah, that's the map that came with the game model. If and when I get around to editing it I'll have the correct glow color.

For the Cherno Alpha model, can you add/ animate fire for the Incinerator Turbines to shoot and then the hydraulics for the Z14 Tesla Fists?

Hey can you rig the roll of nickels in chernos hands? It's that cylinder thing, cherno can deploy it to give it a grip for punching, if you rewatch the double event scene from the movie, you'll see it do that, it also changes how it makes a fist, it's a very interesting detail.

If you scale the main finger bones the fingers will curl.

If you're using Blender 4.0 then it won't work as they've changed the way the rig layer system works. I still need to update it.

Btw that model isnt possibly working for the most people now, it says when i go on the rig in the text editor, Disabled: Cant edit this proberty from a linked data-block. Do i need to change smth in my settings?

You could save the textures out and edit them in Photoshop.

i did link the gipsy and use the script. but i cant find the rig. i do find the rig when i clik N but there nothing on it? any solution? i do use the exact file for the link too.. + i cant make a "make liblary ovveride" from relation. but i do find a button called "libraly ovveride = Make " which i use. and, nothing happend besides the model change it position.

Some things have changed in Blender 4.0. The rig should still be there after you make it an override.

Well they're not originally my models, I just remixed them and added my own touches. So yeah, you could do the same by putting them in a game.
