'Put PM picture, Modi sarkar gives rice for free': FM Nirmala Sitharaman to Telangana Collector

Nirmala Sitharaman, who is touring Kamareddy and Banswada in Telangana as part of the BJP’s Parliament Pravas Yojana, visited a ration shop at Birkoor village in Banswada. There, she questioned officials about PM Modi’s flex banners not being allowed to be put up at the shop, saying the Union government bears a lion's share in the subsidised rice which is being sold at Rs 1 in the state to beneficiaries. “To put up such a great leader's photo, why do you have an objection? Please bring Prime Minister’s flex and place it here,” Nirmala was heard telling district officials including the Collector Jitesh Patil. Video courtesy - Nirmala Sitharaman Twitter page

People's taxes are paying for people's rations. Has been happening before the current PM, will continue to happen after his term. Which PM's photo hangs in Ration Shops anywhere across the country? Why should it? Is the PM paying for it from his pocket? If you are keen for some photographs to be hung, hang the emblems of the State and the Central Governments, not the CM or the PM.

This is her real job. Ensuring photos are installed in ration shops. Being FM is a secondary job. No wonder she didn't bother for the high prices of onions maybe she was busy installing photos in mandis 😂

Insulting an educated IAS officer for political gains is total disrespect to UPSCA. It’s a job of a party worker and not an IAS officer to fix photos. Why should he know about politics. Is he a public servant or party worker?

As if Modiji is doing all this from the money he got from his sasuraal! Every bloody penny is OURS. Neither the CM nor the PM has any right to squander our hard earned money for printing photos for their petty political gains.
