Put some rocks in your woodworking (stone inlay)

It's often said that Australian timber is as hard as rocks, so in this episode I'm doing stone inlay to make sure it is actually as hard as rocks. Azurite specifically.
Stone inlay isn't as hard as it seems, mostly requiring some patience.

I've heard of adding a teaspoon of cement to toughen things up. A tablespoon of pebbles is a new one 😄

I have to admit I winced every time the rock went near a machine but the finished effect is great. Nice pencil case, I add a cocktail stick in the rebate in my attractive styrofoam to shorten the run when I cut my lids too short.

That's a good idea! I think I would have tried.... something to fix it, but the whole move thing just made me want it over and done with
