Charlie Puth sang the first line, the entire first chorus, a few lines in the middle and did ad libs.

no,he starts singing after seungmin and I.N because in the intro I.N said he tried really hard to get it right cos his part is right after seungmins🙂

@@hyunjinie_lixie_chanie4514 I.N sings after Seungmin in that part. You can see it in the MV. I.N was saying his own part was hard to get right because it was right after Seungmin’s. That had nothing to do with Puth. I.N wanted to make sure he sounded good after SM because Seungmin sounded so good. Puth has the whole first chorus and then some. He actually has the largest part in the song at 25 seconds total. Hope that helps!

@@hyunjinie_lixie_chanie4514 He also sings the entire first chorus. Like it’s not really a debate. One person sings the entire first chorus and SKZ never does that. They always split it. Plus like it doesn’t sound like any of them. Give a lyric video a listen when they point it out and you’ll hear it. 🥰

The idea of MV is to show that for the sake of love, a choice is made between a familiar and long life without a soul and a new world with a short and difficult life full of love. This is an analogy with the Little Mermaid on the contrary, so there is a lot of water, symbolising the connection with another world, the world of water with a long life without love, which the guys are ready to leave. The last frame is very symbolic.
