Shoigu is also a civilian with high level technical skills. His successor is also a civilian with high level economical skills and a high level manageral skills. At least Putin has not appointed an old and demented person. That distinguish him from the USA selection people.

First let's not forget Shoigu asked to resign 2-3 years ago but Putin asked him stay on. So you might call this whatever you want but facts still are just that facts! By creating this kind of a Buffer between The Armed forces and the National defense spending is yet another brilliant move from a brilliant leader and it is absolutely serving its purpose much better and it’s going to be much more efficient under Civilian leadership. Look at any command-and-control structure in the world - Civilian or Military - and what has changed the most in the last 10 years? Answer - All have in one way, or another added a new box at the top structural level called Finance. Perfect example how great leaders evolve. Maybe US might learn something considering that according to Government watchdog - Pentagon still can't find 110 Billons unaccounted for from its 2022 budget

Here is why we KNOW Ukraine will win this. Ruzzuh has had two and a half years to win a two week war. And are worse off now than they were then. Add into the mix that the level of lethality of the weapons Ukraine's allies are supplying is only INCREASING, as most of Pootie's real army has been turned into fertilizer. Ukraine's own military industrial complex is expanding and hardening up. Sanctions are killing Ruzzuh. The internal politics are getting much murkier, as the "Federation" is crumbling. Shoigu GONE. Wagner essentially absorbed into the Ruzzun army. You can smell the desperation. They are going to be battling insurgencies throughout the neo-USSR for the next couple of years, AT LEAST.

Because Ukraine is winning the war and will win the war. They have learned the lesson of Afghanistan...... the indigenous people have no where to go..... so they stay and fight, go underground and fight as a resistance army, killing Rooskies wherever and whenever they can. Rooskies have the option to leave. Ukrainians don't. This is without considering the giant surge of US military materiel which is on the way with some of it already in place. F-16s later in the year, but a lot of Bradleys are either there or will be there shortly and they terrify the Roooskies who have been up against them and managed to survive. ATACMS are flowing now. More Patriot systems are coming from Europe. It looks like a deal has been struck to get more than 2 million 155mm projectiles and perhaps another 1.1 million on top of those. Meanwhile, Ruzzuh is trying to revive T54 and T55 tanks. Just pitiful.

he's talking about ATACMs as a new capability for Ukraine, which is so very false! They're only getting a few hundred of them over a year. These missiles are unguided and have same characteristics as Ukraine's TochkaU ballistic missiles of which they had one thousand in the beginning of war. They used them up by the summer of 2022 to no effect, as Russian missile shield is used to intercepting such missiles. ATACMS have been now used in several big attacks and proved to be much easier to intercept than the HIMARs short range(50mi+) rockets that were used in past 18 months, of which about 20% still get through the missile defense.
