Twenty four hours after the plane crash thought to have killed Wagner mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, Vladimir Putin has commented publicly on it.
(Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
The Russian President praised his former caterer as a "savvy businessman" who "made serious mistakes".
He also sent his condolences to the families of the ten people who died in the crash - which came exactly two months after Prigozhin's brief mutiny.
And Putin warned that investigations into what caused it will take time.

If he really done what he done, whether he was Wright our wrong.,what could happen was that the negative implications of his que moves could boost the power and moral of Ukrainian soldiers to have undoubted ebly very successful counter-offensive, even getting back the Crimea at Russian possibly internal chaos.... So question that prigozhin could ask himself, who he was fighting for?

Brits say things like this then glorify people like Winston Churchill (ran concentration camps in Kenya, exacerbated a famine in India and openly advocated for the aryan race) and Margaret thatcher (ardent supporter of Pinochets fascist regime and enacted a shoot to kill policy in Ireland where state intelligence worked with loyalists to ethnic cleanse Catholics) British and American hypocrisy is crushingly annoying. As a disclaimer, I don't support Putin Prygoshzin or the invasion of Ukraine, as I'm consistent in my anti imperialist views.

@@_DeadEnd_ I don’t think that’s the case. Chechens have served two main purposes: controlling captured cities & acting as barrier troops to liquidate deserters. These are glorified policeman who have not undergone proper military training. Their elite units however, contrary to popular belief, are extremely capable. Most of them are held back in Chechnya as they are too valuable to Kaydrov. This is because Chechnya is a tiny place, smaller than the state of New Jersey, with an equally tiny population. Too many resources have been invested in their SF to send them on some suicidal adventure in Ukraine. Especially since a mole in the FSB jeopardised their mission to decapitate the Ukrainian government back in March 2022.

All trust is lost when you are a mutineer. Since Prigozhin had no intention of going all the way, he should have thought long and hard about this before rebelling. The U-turn less than 24 hours after his march to Moscow just shows his mind was unstable and his actions impulsive.

For all the People who think Putin did it think about these factors, 1) During the BRICS summit it's a terrible time to do it and on Russian soil with extra casualties , 2) The West has done these types of things in the past and on foreign soil. 3) Putin could have had Prigozhin silenced at anytime anywhere , why not a simple sniper or accident in Africa ? 4) This took out other Wagner Leadership so it could have been an internal act of Wagner , 5) if it is the Russian Government or MOD they would have made enemies of hundreds up to thousands of Special Forces level fighters who could swear oaths of vengeance ... People who just by default blame Putin are both intellectually lazy and bankrupt.

@@sambmortimer Destabilizing Wagner and turning it against Putin. Killing Wagner's leadership and blaming it on Putin is massive considering how instrumental Wagner has been in the war in Ukraine, and still is in Africa. If Prigozhin thought he would live to old age to talk about his attempted march on Moscow, the mutiny with the Defence Minister and his deputy and the Kremlin boss, he was EXTREMELY naive! What was he doing in Russia anyway when he was supposed to be exiled in Belarus? At least if he stayed in Belarus he might have lived a bit longer, but the boss would've got him there and anywhere he could've been also. There is NO question who authorized his liquidation as it couldn't have been done without his expressed permission as it is an utmost important political issue in current Russian political affairs. Is there any surprise he's gone? NONE WHAT-SO-EVER! SLAVA UKRAINI!

A Russian woman turns to her husband and asks, “Who are we fighting in Ukraine?” Her husband turns to her and replies “We are fighting Ukrainian fascists, The United States and NATO” “How are we doing?” She asks “Well, we’ve lost 100k of troops, most of our advanced tanks and other equipment has been destroyed or captured. Over 20 generals have been killed, our economy is being crushed due to sanctions and there is talk of nuclear war and full mobilization.” “Oh my god.” The wife exclaimed, then asked: “What have NATO and the US lost?” “They haven’t arrived yet.” The man replied.
