It's not a government propaganda tool, if that's what you're implying. In fact, it's widely known that the current government (Conservative, since 2010) detest the BBC for its neutral and balanced critiquing of what it gets up to. They been attempting to hobble it in some way for years. Regardless, the BBC is an extremely centrist organization with no tolerance for any positions that deviate too far right or left of centre. Accordingly, since the centrist position is to go all in to oppose Russia that's the position the BBC undertakes, so in this regard bias shows. Like much of the media it is doing what it perceives as the right thing (supporting the war) for the right reasons (Putin is an aggressor) and while these things may or may not be correct views, any nuance or perspective is lost when one aligns oneself irrevocably with a set position.
