So lets pretend that this is a different song (it is, because in the video title and also in yours it says "Dessert Rose", whereas the song by Sting / Faouzia is "Desert Rose"....), so one is about a rose growing in the desert, impossible, sad and desperate, and the other is about a rose you can have for dessert, after the main course of your dinner... :) - Or the double ss indicates that Putri put more into it, more percussion, more energy, more fun... - Sorry, I'm in a silly mood this morning... Seriously I like both versions for what they are, and I really must say Putri had an amazing band in Malaysia, the guys are tight, also on 'I Will Survive'... Have a nice RAYEDAY and enjoy it! :D
