Putting my JON BOAT in the WATER for the FIRST TIME

Today is the day, the first time i put my jon boat to bass boat conversion in the water, todays mission is just to see how it sits on the water, see how it floats and see if it has any leaks
It all started when my mom met my dad and they fell in love and they had me, Hi im Adam Ryan, and my life.. is kinda crazy!! WHAT..IS..UP.. everybody and welcome to my KZfaq Channel, on this channel i try to live life to the fullest, go on awesome adventures, explore new places, i love being outdoors and in nature, its always peaceful and drama free, which is my number two goal in life, number one is always be happy, most of my videos are me going on EPIC adventures, going to lakes, streams, or rivers and going fishing, catching big bass, walleye, and huge catfish on my awesome Big fish 105 fishing kayak, or you will catch me on top of a mountain bombing the trails on my 2019 Trek Roscoe 7 mountain bike, mountain biking is the newest sport i started to do and follow me as i progress my skills on a bike, i really enjoy mountain biking and its a really great way to stay in shape... that was a family guy reference.. i dont think it really worked out over text.. you know what just forget i said that... you may also find me at a skatepark skateboarding, i started skateboarding when i was 10, it was my first true love lol i instantly fell in love withhow challenging it was and i was hooked and been skating ever since, i havnt skated in a while but i do plan to start back up so expect to see me at skateparks as well, i also really love traveling and exploring new places so expect a lot of travel vlogs, but that is my KZfaq Channel, in a nut shell, hit that subscribe button for a awesome good time!!

I been pretty nervous about this moment the entire build so i decided to take it out to the water and dissolve everything i been worrying about and im glad i did, this build is gonna be worry free from here on out and that makes me happy, i hope yall are enjoying the build series

Jack knifeing is an issue when you're Backing the trailer, not so much when you're going forward. But practicing will get you through the trial and error very fast. You're definitely going to love being a boat fisherman, it's pretty much the only way I go anymore!

My plug is wired to the inside of the boat which is nice. Can’t forget it. Man I like that color, my boat is plain green like most jon boats.

I forgot my plug once, it was not pretty. I had to use my one hand to cover the plug and another to pull start the boat, and ran the boat to rocky shore. But I saved it.

First. Tie you plug to the boat somewhere in the back. That way you'll never forget it. Then just plug it in. Second. Trailers are easy to pull. Jack knifing doesn't happen if you drive it correctly. Third. Practice backing up. I used to have a twenty one foot trailer (home made) to cart around a 19 foot canoe. I could back that thing up into a small opening of a driveway. Tow it around the city and through alleys with hard turns. Practice, practice, practice. Congratulations on getting your boat launched. I'm moving on to your bilge pump install. Do you really need it?

Get those trailer guides at Academy , makes launching a lot easier especially in the wind.

Need to put some bigger tires on that trailer. $70 bucks at bass pro shop. Black rims, chrome lug nuts, chrome center caps. Gotta pimp that shit homie. Lol

You might want to put some rub rails on your trailer, to make sure the goes on straight. It helps a lot

U should get a jack for the front of the boat harbor freight has them for cheap and it makes it a lot easier to move around. I just noticed u didn’t have thought id let u know they make ur life a lot easier

Leave in back of boat by drain and it will never happen

Tip from an old fart Keep three plugs one in the glove compartment one in the boat And one in the tackle box It isnt likely that youll get to where your going and not have a plug in one of those 3 places Also if your gonna haul this boat with other vehicles youll want to keep an extra plug in them as well your main concern with your trailer is backing up thats when things can go wrong and damage the trailer the boat or your vehicle also when turning in town where theres a curb higher than than the road bed Sure youll make mistakes and youll learn from them My best advice when turning in towns is go as wide as you can so you dont hit the curb but some times its unavoidable

One question that I've had as I've gone through your series is if you have a plan for where you would add a casting seat to the front deck. You have the trolling motor footpedal recessed up front so it seems like you want a casting seat there, but thought you would have either mounted a base already, or possibly reinforce the area where the pedestal base will be mounted.
