Oh my goodness I stopped the video to see if anyone else had noticed that. What a sweet guy he is! The funny thing is I was a bit shocked as I thought that was Aaron at first and he was going to use that huge machine to move the Blue Spruce! Haha!

I was silent screaming at Laura. Aaron has to be fast around his house! I doubt Laura takes no for an answer when it comes to completing her projects. I would love to have her energy and stamina. She’s going to have that baby and then tell the doctor to cut the cord because she has a project to finish!! Don’t know what kind of vitamins she’s taking but I need some of those!

Love how everything ties together with the natural burlap "tree skirts", pillows and walnut wreaths. The new light is perfect! And I love the old school Charlie Brown lights. Well done!

OH Laura! The light!!! It's so perfect!! 😍 From what I can gather, the general consensus this year is that there can't be too much Christmas. Sandi Brock from Sheepishly Me put a decorated tree in her sheep barn! AWESOME!🎄 With all that's been going on this year, dragging people's spirits down I think that the more shiny sparkle the better. P.S. I love the old glowy incandescent C-9 lights too! ❤️🎄🎄🎄

You are truly surrounded by the best men on earth i think. Chad thankyou for being a true gentleman. Don't forget the electrician who slipped by and did the light installation. It made Laura so happy. Your helper who helps you is awesome as well. And the best is of course Aaron who just is such a awesome guy. Oh how I wish i could see things before they are there like you Laura. The blue spruce look awesome. So do the ones by the door. I am in love with the red branches and the vintage lights. One thing i am so happy you left there was the window boxes. They are just beautiful.

Your videos are a consistent happy place for this otherwise stressful year. Your worker and the road guy are such gentlemen. It brought a tear to my eye when he jumped from the big road machine to help you. And Aaron is so pleasant when it’s time for you to need his help. I can’t wait for the Christmas light show! I got teary when I saw the electricians install the light without Laura announcing it to us. What a surprise!! It makes the door look so symmetrical and love the warm white colour.

Having the 2nd light installed makes such a huge difference, absolutely gorgeous. Love that you were able to find the "old fashion lights" that's what I remember from when I was Benjamin's age. The porch area is beautiful and I'm looking forward to the overhead tour! Benjamin was so funny when he showed you what he was eating.

Love the simplicity of the porch this year. One simple proportional sized burlap bow in the middle of your greenery above the door might look cute and maybe make it tie in with the burlap around your trees. I love seeing how agreeable and helpful Aaron is to you. To me that is real love, and a real man!!

I love the simplicity and way that the tan colors draw my attention from the wreaths to that pretty door mat and the burlap tree skirts. It doesn’t compete with the other colored decor or the cabbage in the window boxes -which look amazing! Beautiful result!

I’m glad you added the greenery to the red dogwood! And the fairy lights are perfect. But the best are the big colorful light in the Spruces! I’m a Baby Boomer so I have many happy childhood memories growing up in the 50’s where everything was big and cartoonish! 😁🎄👏👍❤️

Looks nice! The big bright lights look like Christmas ornaments decorating the trees, even in the daytime and bright ornamental cabbage kinda tie in with them. Loved seeing Chad(?) stop his work to come help you get the tree onto the forks. Such a gentleman! ❤️ When Aaron asked you if you wanted him to “get a guy” when moving the huge urns, I chuckled. Wish we had instant “Get-a-Guy” service at our house! “Siri? Get-a-Guy, please.”

Love the big old fashion lights on the blue spruces. What a pretty display to be able to look out on from the inside of your home. Now all you need is some big pretty snow flakes falling. I was just writing a comment about those C9's too! I guess I'm vintage too bcuz I remember Christmas lights being so very colorful on all the houses!! It's a REALLY GOOD memory! They are so much more festive than the white lights... I remember when it all changed to white lights too. SOMEBODY decided it was more "tasteful" to have white lights, and Boom! Seems that keeping up with Jones' is still the fashionable thing to do. ...sigh... Now entire neighborhoods are covered in white lights. Really, while ANY lights are nice, all white IS kinda boring, at least to me. AND kids know! They always like the colors better!!! Afterall, if you cannot let your inner color out for Christmas, when CAN you?!! It's nice the C9's are still for sale! They almost became extinct for a while there!! I can only hope the pendulum soon swings back to colored lights on houses. Anybody with me on that?

It was so sweet of your contractor to come help you move the tree. And did anyone else say YEAH electricians! So much fun. Can’t wait to see the light display. I’m going to work on mine today.

Everything looks very beautiful! Big props to Chad. As soon as I noticed him watching you guys in the background and quickly head over, I was like, "Awwww!". We need more Chads in the world. I think a scenic driving tour around the property would be cool! You could charge a certain amount for each car and give proceeds to the children's relief center. People could pay at the front entrance or buy tickets at Andrews Seed. Just a thought.

I know white lights are popular and classy, but if I'm decorating I will always have colored c9 as the main outline of lights anywhere I decorate, but especially on my indoor Christmas tree, it's just tradition. We always had colored c9s growing up.

I think smaller sized spruces should actually be planted there. They frame your house so well! There’s got to be a dwarf blue variety out there that would stay at the right scale. Fat alberts?

The balance created by the other porch light really makes a big difference up there, especially with having the double French doors. I love the simple look you went with and I do the same thing, some years I go all out and other years I like it simple. Beautiful job Laura, can't wait to see the rest. ❤️🎄❤️

Colored lights ARE THE BEST!!! I wish more people used them on their houses for holiday decorations! When I was a kid the white lights weren't so popular. It made this time of year soooo much more magical - all that color, it's so FESTIVE!!! I really miss seeing all the colors on all the houses! 🎄

Love love love the display! The nostalgia factor on the large, colored lights is there for me, too. Reminds me of my parents house while we were growing up. Please stay off that step ladder, anxiety inducing!!
