in this video I'm going to putting the SCL 1000 ride behind dingo to the test.
this piece of equipment has excepted my expectations on a lot of ares for sure.
not only is it a great piece of equipment to use on jobs but the amount of over head it replaces is by far where the most value comes in.
I can replace 1-2 employees with this machine and it never complains lol.
I've put about 30 hours on this this so far and its pretty amazing. enjoy the video

Used one today on a job. You are spot on. Machine is great in every aspect besides the drive controls. If they improved those it would be unmatched.

Thats awesome man. Im glad it working out. Dumb drive handles lol. I just took mine in for its 100 hour service. Had some minors issues that the warranty covered a couple months ago but other then that its killing it👊🏻

What width trencher attachment do you prefer. I'm a pool builder in Cali and about to buy one of these. I'm thinking 6'' or possibly 8'' wide. About 52k out the door with 2 buckets and 8'' trencher. My walk behind ditch witch trencher is 4'' wide and my plumbers want a wider one. Bobcat service is crummy locally so Kubota is my likely next purchase
@jonport_
@jonport_ 3 ай бұрын
I have a 6 and that works for me. I would say whatever size you need that you do the most trenching. The biggest thing I ever trench is 1 1/2 inch conduit line, so mines plenty big enough and if I ever need to do a gutter drain, I just kinda do 2 passes.

You clearly don't work in construction if you want a kill switch lanyard. There is a reason not a single manufacturer does that and it's because it isn't practical. These are tools, not toys. Foot plate safety is just fine and is the best solution. Machine isn't going to go anywhere if you aren't on it. Kubota automaticaly engages the parking brake if you step off of it.

@@mikel9567to each his own mike. I dont know nothing after owning b21, bx1500, bcs 660, dr commercial mower, ransomes walk behind, asphalt roller, various riding mowers, tracked snow blower and on all sitting in my shop. The point of a lanyard kill switch is if you roll the machine it will shut off. Simple wrist slip on lanyard, easy off easy on. Btw at 657 how is he going up that hill without his foot on plate unless there is an overide for brakes?

@@jonport_ if I was looking for a stander skid it would be that kubota…it’s the best one in my opinion…and they’re all expensive!..but ASV makes a really nice mini skid that looks like it would be a great machine…has that multi-terrain undercarriage that would work well on landscaping jobs and running across lawns without rutting them up!…that JCB mini track backhoe looks quite interesting as well but I believe it’s over $100k which is crazy!

Things I despise: 1. No strap around the body to keep you against the machine, you get exhausted if using it for more then 2 hours. 2. Incredibly bouncy, even while trying to create a smooth pass. The chances of you creating waves is 90%> 3. Very uncomfortable control maneuverability, it's impossible to become comfy with the machine the way you can with a Dingo What i like: 1. It's fast and strong.

For #1, you wouldn't want to be strapped in when it tips. For #3, I run mine 2200 rpm when maneuvering; Movements are much smoother, less jerky.
@BruteRazloga
@BruteRazloga 10 ай бұрын
@@SkullDamage 1. Don't tip it in the first place. I've seen plenty of sketchy excavators without tops but still a seat belt. Putting so much energy into holding on to the machine takes energy away from grading nicely. It's good for landscapers, but not the greatest for final grading. Mini excavator is best for that.
