I've actually done that already with a jaw breaker in a vise... before that I would put them in a Ziploc and cover it with a towel and break it up with a hammer so it was easier to eat and one day in my grandparents garage I saw my Pa-Paw's vise and voila lol

I feel like people forget that the hardness of something effects how brittle it is. You can crush diamonds easily.

@@cookingwithcarrus Yes. Diamonds are hard but they aren’t strong. A regular hammer could crush a diamond. Or at least shatter it to the point that I myself would consider it crushed. If you want examples I’m sure KZfaq would provide.

I predicted the jaw breaker would go on the first round cause it was already snugly fit, and a jawbreaker can’t really be compressed, the only option was for it to crack. It still surprised me though.
