Puttu has been a favourite breakfast preparation since my childhood. At the time, we were a large family, like yours, with 13 people at home!! However, my ammama presided over the kitchen. I never thought that I would be making it, the old fashioned way, From scratch ☺️ After seeing your video, this one, a few times, guess what!! I did make puttu, successfully!!
