I personally believe that Masked Satan is an opponent because Arle apparently got to Satan too soon, so he had to act fast, so Satan wore a mask and decided to go with it, and then faced Arle with the mask on.

you can also select the opponent on some previous versions, you just have to wait for the yellow thing to hover on the opponent you want and press a (worked on md and snes)

Arle wasn’t REALLY suprised by the discovery of ”Masked Satan” true identity was she🤨😓? And seriously how dumb IS Satan really😑😓? He could’ve atleast called himself Masked MAN or something, anything than a name with his TRUE name in it😓, seriously what an idiot, what does Rulue see in this joker, really?

I hate the voice acting in this one Arle sounds too way adult and it definitely doesn't fit, even the Puyo Puyo CD voice acting was better and the seiyuu they used for Arle was pretty fitting for her

FuriousTH Well, that's because Compile somewhat decided to plainly use the voice of their employees at the time, for the Saturn release. (No joke)

@@1997811isaac Overall, the Saturn version is weird. (Incidentally, the eSports/Champions version of Last from Puyo Puyo 2 is in the same key as what this version sports.)
