Her journey just began. It's good to see many young athletes trying into different sports and excelling. Wish many more young athletes excel in sports arena. Firstly participation is important and motivates many others to come forward.

Fantastic. India needs more Sindhus in other sports too. And more people like her coach Pullela Gopichand who has made a great contribution. There are so many other sports and hopefully India is just waking up, or is it just a flash in the pan, and back to watching cricket? I have seen some Indian surfers too.

In badminton though height can be a tradeoff for more power and reach, but movement and endurance is generally hindered as it costs more energy as a tall player to keep moving. Few players who manage to keep high levels of movement despite being tall succeed in this sport, but it's rare and that's why rarely we see tall athletes at the top of singles game.
