Players have full liberty to choose coach. Its all about improvising the game with different techniques, so you play more matches opponent knows your tricks and weakpoint well, its always recommended to learn new things from new people, that actually seems working for her after seeing quater final win against akane.

Gopichand as a national coach caters to many students. It would b injustice if he concentrates only on sindhu . From sindhu s point of view as a Olympic medalist she has her rights to choose a full time coach .

It appears that the interviewer really wanted Sindhu to go against Gopichand and to an extent succeeded as Sindhu didn't mention him much or the editor did a good job to show what they they wanted to.

We don't know what happened exactly between them but we should just support our players and she played very well and also gopi is not to be blamed as he has to look after many players and sindhu wants one who is focusing only on her so both are right on their own place

@@jennywinget5786 It is very clear. Gopi is very busy with his academy. The newer facility is airconditioned and Sindhu emphasizes that it emulates the Olympic conditions better. On top of that, she has access to another Coach.

That's nonsense. Going chand made her. Mr.park might have fine tuned her this time, 100's of other medals including her first silver in Olympics came from indian roots. If coaches are paid same as foreign coaches, if funds are spared for players like first world countries do, our players will bag gold, stop white washing. Get real.
