I saw who was the author and it's none other than Cocoa Fujiwara, the Inu x Boku SS writer I remember when they announced her death. It was so heartbreaking... well we got the animation at least ❤

Read the fan translated manga several years ago while Cocoa was still alive. It was really sugar sweet story. Sad that Cocoa past away before she could finish this. She probably be happy to see her final work getting an animation

このアニメ作品はもっと評価が高くて良いはずです。また画質やストーリーもそうですが、この作品の美点の一つとして、 どうかＢＧＭにも（せめてこのＰＶだけでも）耳を傾けてほしいと思います。私は今期１、２位を争うくらいの上質かつ 秀逸な楽曲群だと思っています。

Sorry for the translation. This is a different author from Dragon Maid. The author of this work is Kokoa Fujiwara, who drew Inu × Boku SS and other works. As others have commented, she died of illness 9 years ago at the age of 31, although those involved did not say much… The news of her death was too sudden. She was in the middle of writing this work. Therefore, this work was never completed. This work will be special to her fans and to the author in heaven.🙏
