Percussionist and teacher here. I hear a lot of dirt, but I'm paid to hear it. LOL I still think MSD has some work to do but I have the BOX in my head. They've grown a lot and I'm very pleased with their progress!

What type of tape do they use for their sticks and what sticks do they use ???

idk what tape but i think they use vic firth sticks

They use electrical tape and pinstripe tape. Their sticks are the Johnny Lee Lane Corpsmaster

.......do they know what a metronome is??? Sorry, is it just their style to ignore the tempo that was given by the center snare?

not a lot of college lines are allowed to use them outside the stadium =/. I know, it sucks, but that's just what they have to deal with.

Box got 86’ed in 2010 after some hazing stuff. So they renamed themselves MSD “marching storm drumline”.

Now, that their drumline is on the verge of cleaning up they should get some tuned bass drums and play split parts.
