Season 7 had the worst rating imo, we got a whole new snow biome, it was around Christmas so extra stuff there, we got hoverboards and planes, so even if the planes werent liked thats two vehicles in one season, vending machines changed as well that season im pretty sure, we got wraps, presents and snowmen this season and a cool storyline for the secret skin the prisoner

I don’t think the pros should have an opinion on this. They don’t care about the season but only arena. Personally I think chapter 2 season 2 should be higher as it was such a good battle pass and at the start five new locations were added

C2S5 is definitely in my opinion Poggies, I started play Fortnite that season, there was the Mandalorian and his sniper (jump started my sniping career), and then the sand tunneling was awesome (except that it was removed for half the season), we had the zero point crystals that helped me get out of a sticky situation several times. There was also the Christmas update, half the map was snow, there were planes and presents. Reason in being why it’s not God Tier is because of the IO guards, they were so annoying and tanky, made the game hard for a beginner. C2S6 not a bad season I think it deserves Meh, I really hated the makeshift and primal weapons, but I loved the primal shotty and the bows (yes the did vault snipers) but this was the season where I really started getting good. C2S7, I think it deserves Meh, yes there was a lot of things wrong with that season but we had the mothership loot (even though it was annoying to achieve) and the rail gun was awesome, hated the pulse rifle though, that sucked, but they did have the Ariana Grande event as well, so that was great, but the mothership did also destroy half the map. C2S8, this season was Dead Game, I hated it, I hated the sideways guns, especially the mini gun, although I did like the fact that you could craft mythics, the sideways areas where terrible the cube monsters were annoying as heck, the rail gun was still in the game so I liked that, slone’s burst rifle was way too overpowered, they did have my favorite auto sniper though, the symbiote mythics were just annoying and overpowered, I did like the pyramid at the end though, but the things I hated most was the caretaker and the mechs, but I loved the war effort boards they brought out the combat AR and that was a nice gun, then they unvaulted the combat shotty, I hate that shotty, and the worst thing about that season was it took away the C2 map, I loved that map. C3S1, Poggies, so far not bad, the new shottys suck but the MK7 AR and SMG doesn’t, we got tilted back and we now have Klumbo Dino’s which are just adorable, snipers are okay but they hit their shots though, and we have the Spider Man mythics which are overall one of those items where you forget the game and just have fun with them (until you get shot and die of fall damage), and I’m liking the return of C1 POI’s, and the boat from C2S2. So that’s my opinion and I’m sticking too it, sorry about the essay.

Damn I actually thought season 7 from chapter 1 was one of the best because of the battle pass, the new snowy biome, 2 new vehicles, really cool new locations, had cool events like the zombies being brought back, there were 4 different biomes on the map, the story within the map was crazy and I remember when people were predicting dragons coming to fortnite and Christmas was in the season . this season should’ve at least been a high grid able but really for me it was poggies or low end god tier

What kills me the most is that Season 7 was put under Season X. Just cause season 7 was by far more enjoyable then season X

I mean to be honest, chapter 2 season 5 was not bad. Besides the fact that there were new mechanics regarding the new guns and the bar currency etc, this was the season that finally secured and started the fortnite storyline and made us truly understand the lore deeply

I don’t get the hate for chapter 2 season 1. Lacey said it’s dogwater and everyone agreed even though he didn’t explain it. The season added fishing which is such a good pro item as well as a content item. Harpooning was also good content and is amazing in pro games today. None of the Pois were bad and nothing broke the game. It wasn’t god tier but I’d say it’s at least grindable and I’d put it at low poggies.

chapter 2 season 2 was in my opinion the best season ever! we had vaults mythics and a lot of fun added. you also had a lot of spread on the map you have 4 corner POI and 1 center PIO and you also have a great weapon pool and that's also when they added a lot of tournaments for everyone who was not the best at the game. I don't know if this is right but I think this is also when the Hype Cup got its big lead into the game that made a lot of people like it. Also don't forget this is when quarantine started and everyone was suck at home playing Fortnite!

I personally believe they rated chapter 2 season 2 and chapter 2 season 7 a bit low. In my opinion, season 2 should have been in poggies. Season 7, was the season with the most updates in chapter 2. It introduced the funnest items in the chapter like the inflate-a-bull, grabitron and that pistol which shot UFO beams.

I actually like season 7 even though a lot of people hated it at the time cuz of planew and sword and other stuff that ruined building. But for enjoy player, it was actually very good season. Also it was christmas season as well so I have so much memories.

Chapter season 1 should be higher, considering how it was a whole new game. But no updates were kinda reasonable because it was a whole new map, new mechanics, new weapons etc. so taking our time to explore without any consistent updates is quite relaxing

season 7 was amazing… planes were annoying when others used it, but were fun when u used them, we also got the hole snow biome added which was great, we got the return of the christmas skins, we got the sword that was broken but fun we also got introduced to the overtime challenges where we could unlock new styles for the battle pass skins & also the challenges to unlock the next battle pass for free. this season was amazing imo (we also got hoverboards and happy hamlet)

This list is kind of crappy, the “pro players”, who ruined the game, don’t even pay attention to the actual season and only to competition, and then of course they complain about aim assist when they have so many other advantages

My friend and I are shook- we disagree with the placement of c2 s5 and c2 s8, We put them in either of the bottom 2 tiers for sure... we also disagree with c2 s6 and c2 s7 they definitely were really cool and introduced new and fun stuff Edit: c2 season 6 introduced the new crafting mechanic and the different bows, the wildlife, the center of the map was populated... c2 s7 had so many fun items, prop disguisers, inflate a bulls, UFO's and the mothership with old POIs and somewhat of a vault, it had all the summer LTM's, dropped a banger tune with sunny's song, believer beach looked fresh, corny complex was cool and gave insight into some lore witu slone and the IO, c2 Season 7 was so fun to play from beginning to end... even if c2 s6 stays lower down, i think its criminal that c2 s7 is so low down imo

Season 4 and 5 (chapter 1) were my absolute favourite seasons but im also really loving this one

imo Chapter 2 season 5 was great! The lever shotgun is still one of my favorites, I remember playing the Lazarbeam game mode with my friend and having so much fun. The sand tunneling was great, the Mando mythic were fantastic, but you can have your own opinion.

For me, Chapter 3 Season 1 goes in bottom god tier, because we know we're getting a weapon balance when the Tilted update goes live (in 10 days) and everything other than that is amazing.

Personally I loved seasons 7-9 chapter 1 and didn’t mind season x, the only thing I didn’t like was the mechs

Season 2 chapter 7 was not bad imo, It changed the story of fortnite and it was really fun to play so I’d put it at poggies tier

Completely agree with Kath on the latest season. It brought so many players back saying "fortnite is actually fun again." The competitive standpoint with the smg is not the most important imo. Fortnite feels fresh.

Chapter 2 season 2 is god tier I remember hopping on in lockdown and grinding with friends

I get that people think very highly of season 5 but remember it was the first season of fortnite where people started to actually hate the game. This is when they added the shotgun switch cooldown, and shotguns got a huge nerf in general. This was the spray and pray meta remember! Drum gun, P90 were op!

Season 8 was my favourite. The treasure chests were awesome and the locations

I 100% agree with their C3 rating: it can go either way. If we get shotgun buffs and an smg nerf, this’ll be my favorite season of all time, but if they don’t, I might quit grinding. Also they did C2 S2 so dirty there, easily God tier) This was when I got into Fortnite for the first time, landing Grotto every game… best season besides C2 S4 and early C1.

During "sword season" when the sword came out lachlan actually got to be on a episode of a tv show called Ready Player One which was a Cartoon Network show that gave certain youtubers a chance to be on cable doing what they do and they put the video of the sword and lachlan

I honestly loved season 9, some of the best weapons and maybe im bias with nostalgia but I still loved it and I think it should have gone higher. And id put season 8 in god, mainly because of the endgame ltm that was perfect and so much fun. Honestly, id but ch2s2 as the bwst season, the mythica and boases qere ao cool and fun and they kept adding cool things almost every week. Helicopters were some of the best vehicles ever.

I understand sometimes epic takes time to make content but sometimes they leave the game with less stuff on purpose so you use other stuff (imo) like how only swimming and boats were ways to travel the map for a while.

Chapter 2 Season 1 was such a refreshing season for me. With the pois from chapter 1 cluttering up the map till season X, having a blank slate with a brand new map felt enjoyable since it felt like og fornite to me having new mechanics like fishing and swimming were great additions to match the new map. Regardless their ranking for it was a bit harsh but it made sense since it lasted for half a year and had little updates making it hard to continue playing I would rank it in meh but only if chapter 1 season 7 got moved up and season X moving down

Are u guys crazy. Chapter 1 season 7 top 5 all time. Christmas, so it was fun with snow. Good lobby music. Frozen peak was a good spot to land. Planes were fun for casuals. So many memories were made this season. Chapter 2 season 2 also really good. Agency still one of the most fun places to land, and the vibe was there. Chapter 2 season 4 was so bad for casuals because that was the first real season that sweats destroyed the game.

Season 7 should have been poggies or god so many new biomes, new gamemode, started testing comp settings at the end, from a non comp standpoint it was an amazing season for those of us who just wanted a different type of game to play before the true sweat started that season imo was the last non sweaty season and I loved it.

Chapter 1 Season 7 should at the least be in the grindable category. I've played every season and that's definitely a top 5, maybe 3 season of all time.

Now I don’t have much of a say since I started in C2 S2 but I’m only gonna be ranking the seasons including that and after. C2 S2 was an amazing season in my opinion at the top of poggies it was so much fun especially during the pandemic. I 100% agree with Chapter 2 Season 3,4, and 6 but in my opinion I think 5 should have been in grindable. And then there is 7 which was an amazing season with all the updates and was fun especially in the summer so I could be excited to play fortnite everyday which in C3 S3 not much fun. And then for C2 S8 definitely should be under 7 really didn’t like this season so I would say not yikes but questionable. i actually have a pretty unpopular opinion on season 1. yes it was good and it was probably one of the best times playing fortnite but unlike the rest of the chapter 1 seasons the game would probably be super unfun if season 1 stuck. season 2, 3, 4, and kinda 5 were so much better on every level aside from the community

Ok, this season doesn't need a aim assist nerf. It's because of the spray meda that people think it's all about aim assist. It got a huge nerf this chapter, KM players have and can beam people with a SMG, and they can track people in the sky way better than Controller.

there was wayyy too many low tiers. you really needed to add more good tiers since you could only really put all the OG seasons in “poggies” or “god tier” it made it impossible for them to properly express how they felt

Season 4, chapter 1, still remains, to me, the best season of fortnite ever.

As a controller player that has played a wide variety of games and have played a fair amount of comp nerfing aim assist really made this game difficult to play. For me and a lot of my mates getting boxed by a nine year old who hasn't left creative and has 300 fps really puts me off. Keyboard and Mouse players already had a massive advantage over controller players and I could argue that aiming with majority of the guns (excluding the stinger smg) is much easier on KbM as tracking with a mouse is much easier than a controller. If they simply removed or replaced the stinger smg, made shotguns do more consistent and heavy damage and buffed aim assist this season would easily be god tier. The mythics are so enjoyable and give the game a sense of freshness but KbM is an insane advantage and being able to have a MUCH bigger variety of keybinds and tricks easily sways the advantage.

I feel like its unfair to rate the season on the 'feeling' because in that case the first season always win in everything. I think its a lot more fair to rate them mechanicly but yeah i dont make the rules

Chapter 2 season 6 is in my opinion the third-best season. Well it wasn't great for competitive offer video content it was one of the funnest Seasons to actually play. Suppose were fun and the Primal weapons for something new that took a while to get used to but it was fortnite's first attempt at making a whole new meta to the game.
