Just ordered the anodized P3. Just in time for trolling Kings in the PNW. I sure hope this gives me better response with a NK 180 Pro in the salt and currents.

Does the difference in weight affect Old Town's warranty on the steering system?

There is no guarantee on this and most likely the answer is no. We have tested quite extensively and dont believe there should be an issue when installed correctly. The biggest item is the extra weight requires a little extra lifting power which puts more strain on the raise and lower mechanism. See Koday's video on Silent J Outdoors which addresses this
