54 year old girl finally learning French here, I failed in high school with an awful teacher. Combined with Babbel I cannot believe I am actually understanding what you are saying - like this is a dummy friendly explanation. Merci Alexa!

It's interesting that in French to drive is "Conduire" and as soon as I found that out I thought of train conductors which in a way they "drive a train" or "get it going in a direction" so that helped me remember that word.

Ah thankyou so very very much Alexa for this lesson on Reflexive verbs. i have come to understand the meaning and usage of these in French, after watching some captioned french films and news and reading some material. i think i can recognise them now, and thanks to you, they are no longer one of those difficult things to overcome for me.
