Sure, that's the AE520 by AE. Pylon's Diamond range is not on the same level as Elac's Vela series. I would compare it to Sonara line by Elac. Pylon's "Jasper" range is Elac's Vela sparring partner from that quality and price range.

@@higobatman "Solano" of course, sorry! I am owner of the AE520👌. But I don't know about the Vela 408 in comparison. Without listening it's hard to make such decisions. AE520 is very intimate sounding speaker - and it's exceptionally room friendly (does almost not interact with walls). Cabinet is dead silent through bituminous damping. Sound reminds me on well made transmission line design. However, Vela may have other strengths where it might outperform the AE.

Pylon audio usually use paper and silk drivers so their sound is smooth and quite warm. Speakers are quite sensitive and a god match with tube amps. Sometimes they are quite bassy so you have to play with placement, but sound is rich and full. They use point to point filter system, so signal patch is short and the connection is better than filter wiring on the board.

@@akramhossain1931 well it depends on what sound you like. But if you talk Diamond 30, they are very worth money. Very good drivers (seas and scan speak), wood veneer finish and good sound as described in a first comment. Only the bass can be difficult to control in some rooms. They are good for bigger rooms.
