Interesting. Thank you. I went looking for information on this topic and found you. I was just dx with pyloric stenosis and will be scheduled for an egd/w dialation after being on sucralfate for a good month 4x’s a day along with my pantoprazole that I’ve been taking for months already due to a stomach ulcer I had last yr and in previous yrs. I was dx with Barrett’s disease earlier this yr. My stomach and esophagus symptoms can be so irritating at times where I can’t even sleep at times. My Gastro physician is talking about widening up that tube ?? (I’m still learning) with a balloon near my intestine so hopefully my food will pass more easily (my words) so I don’t have all these symptoms that I’m experiencing. Added on: and I’m an adult female.
