as someone living in a post soviet country the reason i am so interested in north korea because it looks like hungary in an alternate universe, or 80s hungary transported into the current year, down to the public transport. a "north korean" scene in an american series was filmed in my neighbourhood. it was really believeable, the directors only needed to add some flags lmao eta that pyongyang is a whole lot cleaner than budapest

@danielhoffmann67
@danielhoffmann67 Жыл бұрын

@KT4Dani
@KT4Dani 5 жыл бұрын

@KT4Dani
@KT4Dani 5 жыл бұрын

@KT4Dani
@KT4Dani 5 жыл бұрын

In Hungary we have doors on both sides, maybe that's why there are fewer seats.
@garfield-yk5xt
@garfield-yk5xt 5 жыл бұрын
@ it depends on type of tram which depends on type of network, in Budapest there is no tram loops hence trams are bidirectional meaning they have drivers cab on both ends as result doors are on both sides, but network which have tram loops at the end of each rout use trams with one drivers cab and doors only on one side, same as bus or car, at the end of route tram takes turn on the loop, for example most of trams in Warsaw are like that pluses are - higher capacity, more sits (one drivers cab less plus along the "wall with no doors there is more sits) easier maintenance as there is less cables etc. Bidirectional tram advantages are visible when something wrong is happening on the network like some maintenance works or accident - then bidirectional tram does not need "loop" to turn back, just the track switch which can be anywhere as it does not take space, this is why even systems with tram loops have some number of bidirectional trams in case of situations like this
