Esta película en verdad está muy infravalorada, realmente te identificas con lo que viven los personajes, tengo 18 años, y la película retrata muy bien como cuando eres joven no sabes que rayos hacer de tú vida, no sabes si estas haciendo lo correcto o no, consigues a un grupo de sujetos con tus mismas dudas que se transforman en tus hermanos, te enamoras, te equivocas, y también pasas momentos increíbles, de verdad deseas que lo que estás haciendo sea lo correcto, todo esto lo retrata bastante bien la película, y además el soundtrack es simplemente perfecto. Me atrevo a decir que es más una película de drama que de "fiesta estadounidense".

This was Max Joseph, he was the producer of the movie. And yes, Max Joseph is brilliant :) not just for casting Zac Efron for the role of Cole. :)

I'm not a big fan of this type of music, but after watching this movie I have a whole new level of respect for dj's and electronic musicians; this scene meant so much to me, it brought me to tears. Music is so powerful, in all it's genres and dimensions

Quick heads up that not everyone Dj's like this. The style in this movie is more producing and playing your song live in front of others with MIDI controllers (Keyboard, launchpad, etc.) The other more common way is simply having your tracks in order and mixing them in with DJ boards. I personally prefer performing live with MIDI boards similar to what they are doing in this song because it feels more lively and active when you are performing the song and building it up on the spot, rather than just spinning it and waiting for the song to end.

I see myself a lot in Cole, everything he goes through, the people he meets along the way and his ups and downs. When I have free time I always watch it again because it is still one of my favorites today, it put together amazing songs with a good journey, the way you get into the vibe of each song, so much so that I have most of the songs from the movie on my playlist. One of my favorite scenes is that of Cole running aimlessly around town with Sophie, there it was just the two of them and the background music. That original song Cole did for the festival at the end still gives me goosebumps it's so good, especially when the squirrel shows up saying "are you recording this?" and "will we ever be better?"

el mensaje es increible.. como todos pasamos por la lucha de encontrarnos y hacer lo que nos hace felices.. encontrar nuestro camino... hacer lo que amamos y encontrar el amor.. que finalmente tambien va implicito en el mensaje de la pelicula.. tanto el personaje como ella empiezan desde 0 y juntos van a ir abriendose camino.... realmente para los jovenes nos da un gran mensaje
