In this video I have explained all the regulatory points and the molecules which regulate pyrimidine nucleotide synthesis. Pyrimidine biosynthesis is regulated at carbamoyl phosphate synthetase II reaction by elevated UTP. Some other enzymes in pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway will also be regulated.
