If you ever revisit this build, I highly advise you to use the Fire Coil consumables. They're super good, home in harder and faster than the Serpent Coil, so they're better for finishing off opponents. Even better, you can do a tech where you throw one without lock on 90° from your target then immediately lock onto them, and the coils will home in onto them at high speed from off their screen ; obviously it's only usable in open spaces, but it's almost impossible to dodge if you don't know about it. Really looking forward to using these.

Hey lads, just wanted to say, if you are ever having trouble dealing with messemers spear, hears a few things you can do, if you have space you can outrun the second part of the ash, if they go for the third part of the ash of war, if you have a long ranged, spell, magic, aow, you can quickly counter attack, but dont try too close as that's a way to get yourself impailed, also, for the messemers orb, just keep some distance from that, and do the same, they get locked into the animations for a sec, so that's a good time and way to counterattack.

I jump over the first part and heavy jump attack for easy hit. You can also roll around clockwise starting from your left when you get into the full animations and not get hit. I punish that spear like you wouldn’t believe

Fire knights seal buffs Mesmer incants. So a second one would have probably made those Mesmer orbs one shot. 15 percent extra damage

Flame knight's greatsword is also really great on a fire build. The new fire ashes of war are a pretty sick pair.

I see a lot of players using these in arena and I’ve gotten good and getting just outside their range I. Serpent and nuking with longer range spells while they panic roll. The spear is easy to punish too. Especially if you’re built for jump attacks or heavy jumping r2. Users tend to spam the ash and it leaves them wide open

Its founding rain of star but fire. Literally same fp cost same stat requirement for faith or intelligence and the same amount of spell slots.
