This was a more productive week. Lalachievements score 16,300. So I had two main pushes. First, I managed to clear enough inventory to do more splendorous tool prog. Consequently, I picked up Resplendent: Brilliant Needle, Brilliant Round Knife, Brilliant Saw, and Brilliant Mallet. I also happened to pick up I Can Dig It III while grinding for fire and wind crystals necessary for all the in-between crafts. Second, I did a lot more fishing. I picked up Go Big or Go Home VIII (Mirrorscale, Sabertooth Cod, Starbright, Caterwauler, Old Hollow Eyes, Magic Carpet), Go Big or Go Home IX (The Terpsichorean, Great Gudgeon, Discobolus, Fingers, Darkstar, Charibenet), and Go Big or Go Home X (Problematicus, The Salter, Meteor Survivor, Dark Knight, Charon's Lantern, Old Softie). Right now, I have Armor Fish for HW, as the last HW legendary, and I've tagged Little Perykos mostly because it's kind of an ARR fish. For StB, I have Ruby Dragon and Drepanaspis tagged. I realized that I keep putting off Steth because I don't want to lock myself into the Lochs for who knows how long, so I'm basically just ignoring Steth and Lancet, maybe until the DT content lull after 7.55. Unclear if Sidereal Whale will wind up in that club too, I've still not familiarized myself with the EW fish particulars. Anyway, for ShB, I have Egg and Salad tagged, which makes me wish there was a nice egg salad sammich place near where I live. That's all for this week. I'm still trailing, but honestly a 500-point deficit is a lot smaller than I was expecting to be at.

We'd camp Named mob spawns in our groups (each area had "camps" the players named which normally had 2 or 3 Named who spawn nearby) and just sit for hours killing placeholders and Named mobs for the loot they CAN drop. Usually they all had 2-8 items that COULD drop but one was drop guaranteed.

The glass jars have some value because they get used *very* frequently as handles in furniture, so all the housing enthusiasts are snatching them up.

Cantthank you enough of these videos.. they may not be walkthroughs, but the info and comedy is well worth the laugh.. Love the content and you've brought to light so many aspects of the game to me, I know there's years and years of content to look forward to.

I saw a guy quit after grinding for magicite item pieces for 3 years, and what made him quit wasn't even the the ridiculously terrible drop rate by itself; what really set him over the edge was being bullied in Eureka by people who spend the entire time mocking and insulting players while gloating about taking advantage of them by waiting on top of the spawn and then pulling the NM in a circle to deny as many players as possible from getting gold participation, artificially inducing further scarcity on the marketboard by reducing how many people get a chance at winning a piece

Materia really is an interesting place, speaking as a Bismarck local since it dropped, there's so few people on average around the place that even the Limsa Aetheryte is generally pretty empty, makes trying to Aetherial Mimic a bit of a hassle

I finally got 2 of my goals done this week. Goal 1: Used my Levequests and got all my crafters to Lv70. Next is the Gatherers so I can start grinding new accessories for V & VI crafting recipe ease of access. Goal 2: Finished the Sky Pirate set from Orbonne Monastery! *(47 runs for that damn top...)* Now to run RIdorana Lighthouse as The Leading Man for those Orch Rolls... *(I really love FF12.)* Bonus Goal 3: Acquired the Carbuncle Earrings. They're small, will never be seen all that much, but they are Carbuncle themed. And now they're mine.

I feel bad for all the achievements you're going to have to unlock that come with Dawntrail AFTER you get all the ones up through Endwalker. But I wish you the best of luck CiderSpider!

Over on Light DC we've had problems with masses of bots farming bunny fates in Pyros, so farming the special NMs always takes longer than it should since obviously those bots filling up the zone don't contribute to the killing.

@22:30 Yeah it was my bad with the Monk weapon thinking it was a Pagos stage, I do like the glow effects on the Monk weapon in the Pyros stage. Fists of Flame! Elsewise, whatever, it's overkill or meh on most items.

Another week, and you've pulled even farther ahead of me (16815 lalachievement score to my 16505). I did, however, finish the Yokai event. In the meantime I earned some more passive grinds, like getting my final tank achievement mount, finishing my 3000th FATE, and turned in my 120th custom delivery to Anden.

Dang, you manged to be there for the once a day (or so it seems) Penny spawn window. I always tell myself imma go for her and always forget to check for heatwave. I love Platebarer healer being ress tank in pyros

I'm doing eureka for my WAR relic right now. And the leveling is honestly just so boring. I'm up to pogos now, but having to proverbially start over every zone is gonna get frustrating quick. Once it's done it's done and I don't have to re level any more if I decide to do more relics down the line. But first go around is definitely extremely rough.

Regardless of light grind vs crystal requirements, I still hate Pagos the most, just because of the way the zone is separated by the walls/big drops. Getting around the zone is such a huge pain. Pyros is also split, but you're not locked in to very specific routes, and it's a bit easier to get around the pain dragons.

My go to plate for Pyros was that one for DPS that like doubles their HP and quadruples their defense or whatever. Nice and cheap and let me not die as DPS when I zoned out completely...

the closer you get to the top of the Diabolos leaderboard, the harder it gets to maintain your rank. ive lost 10 spots on the Brynhildr leaderboard because i dont have any fast chunks of achievements to earn anymore :c

I'm currently working on my summoner book, it's my first Eureka relic, but I kept getting distracted by the logogram farm, or the bunny farm, to get any worthwhile progress. At least I remembered why I love summoner so much

Fun fact you can skip the Pyro's part of the magicite and go straight to 7 by collecting Molech's Horn, Goldemar's Horn, and Ceto's Claw in Hydratos

seeing you math out to 430~ish nms for all your relics makes me feel way better about my grind for 1 lmao currently on break bc i'm not subbed, but i'm not even at pyros cap, so i can't farm a majority of the 'better' nms for their drops and crystals, but it should feel a 'bit' faster than yours did 😂

You have some inhuman fortitude to be able to stomach Eureka/Bozja as much as you have. I commend your steadfast conviction towards achievement farming. 👍

I hated pyros. My time there was people standing next to your body on the floor telling you to wait because they NEED to pop the fate. Followed by they NEED to finish the fate. Then getting upset that you auto release because the timer ran out. Again this would be with you right next to them and they are a healer.
