1: if they are real the pattern wont be identical... Similar but not exactly the same.
2: it makes a unique sound when rubbing against it.
3: python snakeskin is very soft.

Thanks for this. Id been doubting myself after purchasing snakeskin boots in Cozumel. Dropped about 300 on them and i was pretty sure they were real, now i know they were real. They originally wanted 500 for them. One thing about Cozumel, never buy anything face value ha ha.

Deysi crazy. loca locadia prob 2 reasons. 1. It’s Cozumel, you haggle or get ripped off. 2. Worth 300 not 5.

I just purchased some boots from cozumel and I was overcharged and I don't think they are real python they are Cuadra and the stitching on the bottom is not professional, the foot pad insole is not covering the whole shoe its cut in half and glued down but lifting at the heel. they said they were authorized dealer but after watching video on the making of cuadra boots they take pride in the workmanship and the boots I bought doesn't show so I'm disputing with amex now.

Man I went to Cozumel and tried on real ostrich boots and the guys okie doked me and put fake ones in the box when I wasn’t looking and it was an upscale shop smh 350$ down the drain

Just got my genuine python square toe boots in the mail. Love them. I have a quick question, why is rattle snake skin boots more expensive than python? Or at least that’s what I’ve seen.

Weld Workz I’ve wondered the same. Only thing I can figure is that pythons are a common nuisance species, so they’re commonly available. Other thing could be that rattle snakes usually don’t grow big enough to become boot worthy.

Hey man, may i ask if the pythons are tanned like that, do they still require to be sprayed by reptile conditioner? I got something like your brown boots, i dont maintain it actually but still feels and look the same. Still soft

Yes any snakeskin it will keep them from drying and cracking

@@westernshack hey it works! By the way, some of the scales of my snake skin were already bent the opposite direction. I sprayed it with the same conditioner which you are using, and I just massaged the scales softly in their original direction. It went back to normal!!!!!!! 😮

The scales are backwards. Why do they make them like that? They should be the opposite way so they won't snag on something.

I got some for 80 dollars (brand new) and the pattern is similar but not the same the scales go up and they are soft but i still got my doubts

Yes, I agree. They're skinned alive and suffer terribly. I suppose since they don't make facial expressions or scream people don't really think of that. They're illegal in some states because of the sheer brutality of the process.
