Hi sir, need some advice, in june I will be completing my 2 years of experience in IT, I completed my big data internship in my current employer but never got a chance to work in a project having any of the tools from the big data toolkit. I got tagged to informatica project .got some flavours of development. Now working in a prod support project for the same. With self learning and certifications would i be able to move out from this and pursue a more advanced data engineering career? I asked to a senior and he advised if i am going to move to a new technology or tool set then I have to fake my these project experiences. Is it really the case?
