Under the Appdata/programs/Python I found that there are many folders of different versions like Python 310, Python 311 etc. I have deleted the previous version fodlers and pip command worked like a charm. Thanks for the video.

Is it fine if it directly goes to 3.8 instead of python? C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38 ive been working on this for the past long while, and my issue is sort of related to this. In a virtual environment it will give me the message: Unable to create process using 'c:\users\username\appdata\local\programs\python\python38\python.exe --version' Any ideas on how I can resolve this? Thanks :)

I had two folder Python39 and Python311 under C:\Users\.....\AppData\Local\Programs\Python . Deleted Python39 and error resolved.
