Hey Dhriti AKA Kiara, I know you since years ☺️ Good to see youuu☺️👍 I had this dilemma since ages about changing the name. Everyone says it's really difficult Especially if you are staying abroad. Can you please share the process for changing the name?? Did you face any difficulty? Does All documents and passport need to be changed after you changed your name??? I failed to find related to this kinda content Thank you for helping

Hey! Sure I would say if you are moving abroad it is a great time to start introducing yourself as your desired name so new people can know you with that name from day 1 and then it's not difficult. Friends and family may take some time to adjust or may never but that is okay, you need to live for yourself! For documents, some people choose not to legally change it but just go by a different preffered name so it is up to you. If you change your name legally, yes you will need to change it on all your documents and it is easier after getting PR and even better after getting citizenship. Do what makes you happy and people who love you will understand and support you :) xo

Thank You so so much☺️☺️@@KiaraBhanushali It really helped...👍 For me, I was focusing only on changing my name legally on paper... but I never thought about first changing the name unofficially and then after PR making it on paper . It doesn't matter here in foreign country....they always encourage for ' Preferred Name' !!! So it doesn't matter what legally your name is ! I never thought like this.. It's a new perspective...and one can surely follow this!! All the Best for your future endeavors!! Keep up the good work 👍
