I am so glad to know that I’m not the only emotional mom during those first few months. I remember so many nights during the newborn phase, where I would be sitting in the rocking chair, feeding him a bottle and caressing his cheeks and holding his little hands, and literally sobbing, thinking about the day, when those cheeks will have stubble, and when those hands will be bigger than mine, and have hairs on them and it’s literally making me weep now even thinking about it and he is three years old. I also really love that you clung onto that image of Peter walking on the water, I hope you’re caught up on the show the chosen, because they show that scene at the end of season three and that was so impactful and your story on how you decided on naming your son Was just so beautiful!

Sorry to break it to you hon, but I got pregnant while breastfeeding and I have PCOS and struggled with infertility...so if you don't want to have Irish Twins don't listen to your boobs 😂😉

When i had my kids in the 80's you didnt know the gender, so each time was a surprise. I got what i hoped for. Two Boys❤

My husband was born in 1982 and his mom found out his gender at 20 weeks. My brother was born in 1986 and my mom found out his gender in the second trimester.

I waited until birth with 3 of mine and absolutely loved not knowing. Of course it would've been nice to know and it killed me to wait, but the magic of finding out at birth is amazing!

I am so thankful that you talked about how finding out the gender was anticlimactic and missing the bonding aspect during pregnancy because that's exactly how I feel! I waited to find out for my second and I almost didn't care about the gender right after delivering. I didn't have an epidural, so it was pretty painful and all I cared about was that the baby was safe so I could rest! Now that we're expecting #3 I almost feel guilty that I didn't have the bond of talking to #2 and calling him by name. Needless to say, we did the sneak peek test this time and found out at 7 weeks 😄

I had a boy and a girl and also waited to find out with the third. I feel the same way! So cool to have the experience but if we have a fourth I’ll def find out! It’s really nice to prepare beforehand 😊

I’m about to have my second baby and don’t know the gender. I’ve honestly loved the experience and if I have a third I would like to wait again. My family tends to over buy baby gifts so it has held them off for a bit and helped me manage all the things they’ve already been buying for my toddler lol! We are pretty much convinced it’s a boy, but I’m still loving the fact that I don’t know for sure.

So our kids are close in age. My daughter turned 5 in March and my son turned 3 the day after Christmas last year. I wish we could have another but my daughter was in the nicu for 40 days, my son born at 37 weeks. I had 2 csections. I’m a born again Christian, I make my own bread, etc. I so wish you lived near me! I love seeing you in this journey with a 3rd!

I am due with my third in January. With my first (girl) we found out at 20 weeks. My second (boy) we waited to find out. It was so cool bc I was convinced and so sure it was a girl and we were so shocked and excited when he came out a boy 😂 we aren’t finding out again this time around and I again feel like it’s a girl. I’ve had dreams and always have felt like it’s a girl. But I don’t trust my judgment bc it’s felt like a girl all 3 pregnancies. We’ll see in January 😀

I relate to the rage so much. But I’m 2 years in with my second. My first is 4.5. We are very stressed right now process of moving but I feel like the rage started a year in with number 2 it sucks but I’m trying hard to work on it

Girl dont worry about that extra 10lbs! When breastfeeding, the moms body will sometimes hold on to some of the extra fat so you can still feed your baby incase of famine. I know when I did extended breastfeeding with my first two (two years each) I held on to 5-10lbs until they were COMPLETELY weaned even though they were only doing 1-2 feeds a day for the last 6 months. Once I stopped completely the last few lbs just melt away ❤️

We just had our 3rd about 2.5 months ago and my oldest is 3.5. Totally agree going from 1-2 was harder than 2-3 but omg the laundry. There is so much and I’m never on top of it.

@@litigr8tor haha no way! Yeah I’ve got a 3.5yr old, 25mo old, and 10weeks or so. At this point who can keep track of the weeks. Most days are total madness but we’re doing what we can to make make it work. Every day is a new adventure 😅Godspeed to you and your family, having 3 littles this close in age is not for the faint of heart 😂

Thanks for the vlog ❤ i suggest yoga, its great for the body and you dont have to sweat. And the weight part, your muscle turns into fat after 30’s so youre gonna look different with time.

Be careful with the NFP during post partum, because you can ovulate and never find out if you get pregnant that first ovulation then you will never have a period (because you’re pregnant 😅), happened to a friend of mine, and two months later she was having pregnancy symptoms did a test and + 😬 she was so blindsided because she was breastfeeding and never had a period, but her doctor told her that it probably was that first ovulation so there was no time for a period 😅

In my opinion Marquette is so much easier and more doable and less work than the other Catholic approved methods my hubby and I tried. It’s definitely worth looking into. The only thing is a lot of the info is pay to know which is extremely frustrating, where other methods I’ve been able to get a general gist for without having to pay up front for the info.
