What John was teasing is an indoor RMC coaster in 2025 with the planned Project HORIZON building. Firstly, he answered an RMC question and said that one is potentially on the HORIZON. He then answered a question about brighter themes on thrill rides, and said that something was possibly on the HORIZON. Then he answered the question of what is your favourite project to work on saying “WATCH THIS SPACE”

i am taking the background more into perspective when he said watch this space. that was a very short cut to clip to oblivion for. also oblivion was 28 this year so its actually the oldest coaster in the park now with exception of mine traine which will definitly be retracked before its time.. maybe he is looking into ideas in replacing oblivion. although personally i think rita should be gone next.

This confuses things. We know after Drayton Manor, that Intamin have a 2nd "large" UK based project. But John throwing in the RMC mug and now seeing RMC's family indoor coaster FITH2 makes me wonder could we see a similarly highly themed RMC family ride.

@@CoasterSloth Flamingo Land didn't buy their last coaster from Intamin though, they got a cheap deal buying it second-(or actually third I think) hand off some park in Brazil. They're a small regional park, I doubt they'd have the budget for a brand new Intamin.

PEOPLE, it likely won’t be a big, largescale rmc like any of the ones you know of. RMC are manufacturing Fire In the Hole at Silver Dollar City - it will likely be something like that :(

Oblivion will be 30yrs old in 2028, Its no coincidence that RMC is announced infront of Oblivion. I think Oblivion will be removed rather than retracked, and replaced with an RMC. Oblivions pit will make an excellent first drop!!!! Any mention of Horizon is a redherring. Horizon will get an intamin multidimension.

Pre-answer: There is NO NEED to bring up the crash. Answer: Yes, of course it is. Following the 2015 incident, numerous additional safety mechanisms were added. For example: The ride automatically shuts down if wind speeds exceed 34mph. There is no way for operators to override the block section system.

This community is going to have an absolute meltdown when they reveal that Project Horizon is not an RMC😂 Can’t wait for the opinionated little kids to kick off and cry about it - Scott O’Neil seems to have some big ambitious plans for Merlin, I can’t see his first UK RMC being a little kids indoor ride 😂😂

@@bennickss I think Towers have something MAJOR planned for that building. I don't think it would've been the wild moose even if it was an RMC. Too small, basic boring layout, no room for themeing etc etc. I can see the contract going to Intamin and we'll get something a bit like Uncharted. But Alton will do it better ;)
