Time stamps 16:58 -17:33. This. Shalom! I made it on over to this video because of your response to a question I posted on a past video. Thank you for your response and thank you for this video! Your explanations, though owed to no one, are eloquently expressed and much appreciated. I was confused a video or two before lol, but with this video I've realized that we have a lot more in common faith-wise than I thought. You clearly have studied much and know a lot, and your content is informative and encouraging in a unique way.

The Trinity is not polytheism at all, it’s just a difference in the understanding of the nature of the One God. It’s only polytheism if you have Unitarian biases to what One God means. I initially made a simplification of the concept of the Trinity here but looking at other comments it seems you understand church doctrine pretty well so it feels redundant to simplify it so I’m editing the comment lol. Whether the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father or proceeds from the Father and the Son is a matter of debate (very old copies of Athanasian Creed include Filioque, much older than Orthodox would ever like to admit - some 5 centuries older than the schism, scripture references it indirectly and Council of Florence confirmed Filioque [Orthodox guys love to claim they care about the positions of their bishops in ecumenical councils until you talk about Florence, then they completely deny them]) but yeah the Triune Godhead being explained in the sense of three persons being three physical heads and then using that as an analogue for how a thing can logically be three but one is a more simple explanation normally lol - I disagree that it is polytheism to use it as an analogue (like a clover) so long as you explain that the reality is massively theologically different and how. It’s not beyond God to be three persons in one God, and to say that it is is tantamount to blasphemy honestly, whether you agree with it is another thing, but it isn’t logically inconsistent or impossible for God to achieve. That being said, you were never in the right religion to begin with. Protestantism and Islam are both heresy. The only Christian denominations that have a claim to fullness of truth are Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox Christianity - there is a debate to be had there for sure (a debate that the Council of Florence ended but Eastern Orthodox Christians aren’t honest with themselves on that for the sake of politics) and it’s always very interesting to witness. But with the rest of the denominations, they are founded in heresy against the Church that Christ left for us, Sola Scriptura (not the intention of Biblical authors or Christ) and Sola Fide (goes against scripture - see: James 2:24). Islam is the works of Satan and false prophethood, that is clear as day to anyone who studies Qur’an, Sunnah and Hadith without doing mental gymnastics to justify constant falsehood and lies. I feel like you should certainly look into the Apostolic Churches for truth and goodness. The Temple of Solomon was destroyed, God’s covenant with the Nation of Israel superseded and the Church of God (with Peter, the Rock the Church was built on being the first Pope) established from the time of Christ until the end. Belief in the divinity of Christ is necessary for salvation, as His divinity is necessary for His death to shatter the power of Hell and Sin. Respecting Orthodox beliefs because they’re closer to you as an anti-trinitarian means very little to me as a Catholic. The “oriental Churches” and early church fathers and desert fathers you have respect for were in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church before the schism, so when you say to go “all the way back” you’re telling western Christians to go back to those times, you are telling them to go back to Catholicism. Praying for your health, happiness, peace and salvation. God bless ❤️‍🔥 P.S. - also wanted to say I’m really happy that you were able to leave Islam and it not be a danger for you, depending on the situation and the life you build for yourself while being Muslim, the reaction from those you know at the time can vary from distancing and disapproval in many cases to murder in some - so I’m happy for your safety ❤️‍🔥

I was a Pagan for a very long time, and not just your typical new-agey Wiccan, no, I was a Hellenic Reconstructionist, which is a very devout and strict form of Hellenism, and the Trinity absolutely borders the line between Monotheism and Polytheism. The idea of one God having multiple faces is Soft Polytheism, shared by Kemeticism and Hinduism, Hard Polytheism is like what the ancient greeks practiced, where they believe every deity is a completely separate being. True Monotheism is really only practiced by Judaism and Islam, as they believe God has one facet, and stands alone above all others. Really and truly Christianity isn't even just Soft Polytheism, it's Henotheism, which is the idea that other Gods do exist but only one God should be worshipped, the existence of other Gods is eluded to dozens of times in the Bible, even the whole "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me" quote eludes to other Gods existing.

I love this video! I’ve been on my own religious research and path to the creator and have labeled myself Christian, Pentecostal, Hebrew Israelite, messianic even Torah observant over time. Decided not to continue the research and take a break and have stuck to being an Ebionite. I just tell others I’m a believer in God but I stick more to the Torah. My husband is Muslim and I really like their conservative and traditional roles. I dress like a Muslim but I am not. For me Yeshua is more of a prophet just like any prophet since there are too many additions and corruption in scripture. Life is a journey with mistakes, bad times, and joy etc. Very hard though to find people to do worship and community with.

Shalom sister! I saw and commented on one of your videos aways back... I think you were talking about different bible versions at the time. It's interesting that I came across this one tonight because I was just asked a few hours ago if I was a "Christian". That's always a weird question for me to answer because whether I answer yes or no it will give people the wrong idea about me. If by "Christian" they just mean "follower of christ", then the answer would be yes.... I believe in the Creator spoken of in the bible and the messiah. But if/when the conversation becomes more in-depth and they find out all the differences I have from mainstream Christianity, I'm no longer accepted amongst mainstream Christians. I have been kicked out of Christian chatrooms for having differences in opinions on certain scripture interpretations, and kicked off of a christian website all together for not accepting the trinity doctrine. To some that means that I am denying God completely. It seems like we have been on a similar path for awhile (I even noticed your sage in the background)... ultimately just wanting to find Truth, learn what is morally right and attempt to live our lives accordingly.... even if that means doing it alone. I am glad that you have a partner though to go on the journey with and congratulations on the coming child. I am subscribed and I very rarely use it, but I will add you on IG as well.

Quick question: Remarriage is considered adultery in the Bible according to my understanding of it, so I wonder what made you choose to do so? Mark 10:11-12 11 And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, 12 and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
@zarahilluminate
@zarahilluminate Жыл бұрын
Torah does not teach that and it is my understanding that the New Testament does not either. Deuteronomy 24 is a great chapter to read through as the foundation. A woman simply can’t marry (or I guess even fornicate) with another and then return to her first husband. It is strictly forbidden. She can’t however remarry no big deal if your foundation is Torah. If it’s not then idk that’s kind of a New Testament Christian issue as to how to reconcile that.
@user-oo3td8tt2w
@user-oo3td8tt2w Жыл бұрын
@@zarahilluminate well no, Yeshua said that Moses (not God) allowed divorce due to the hardening of their hearts. It even says in Malachi 2:16 that God hates divorce. One of the reasons Yeshua came was to give the correct interpretation to the laws that were given in the Torah, in Deutoronomy 24, is says that if a woman, after her first husband divorces her, decides to go and marry another man, she cannot come back to her first husband even if the second one dies. This is implying a decision that "the woman chooses" to make if her first husband divorces her, it is NOT a command from God allowing a woman to remarry. The two options Christ allows a divorce woman is to stay single or reconcile with her first husband. Jesus Prohibits Remarriage verses Matthew 5:32, Luke 16:18, Mark 10:11-12

@@zarahilluminate Greetings Sister. May I say that remarriage is adultery. You cannot remarry while your first spouse is alive. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. The marriage covenant exists until death...it took his death to bring in the new covenant, which is the return to the Melchizedek Priesthood. He was married to Israel when he came, but she was a harlot, so his death freed him up for the New covenant. That's where I'm sitting now on why he had to die...and it always took blood to cover sin, otherwise why were they sacrificing before Abraham?

It’s not polytheism at all, it’s just a difference in the understanding of the nature of the One God. It’s only polytheism if you have Unitarian biases to what One God means. When I try to explain the Trinity to non-Christians, I always use an analogy which is a little bit different to the reality, but it helps them understand the reality that I then explain to them. I tell them to think of God as a physical being in front of them with 3 heads, one is called The Father, one is called The Son, one is called The Holy Spirit. They are different in personhood and in role, but are the same in essence and substance and being, unified by a physical body which makes them one God. Now imagine that exact same concept, but rather than being unified by a physical body, they are unified by a spiritual body - this is obviously a massive oversimplification of the reality, and is an analogy mainly for the purpose of showing that One God can be three persons - a more accurate analogy would honestly be that the Holy Spirit is the body that unifies Father and Son but is also a person within the body, and that there is debate as to whether the Holy Spirit proceeds from just the Father or also from the Son - but that’s again difficult to digest when struggling even with the logic of multiple personhood within a single divine being. Trinity is not beyond God, and to say that it is is tantamount to blasphemy honestly, whether you agree with it is another thing, but it isn’t logically inconsistent or impossible for God to achieve. That being said, you were never in the right religion to begin with. Mormonism is heresy, as is Protestantism. I tried to get into orthodox but it just doesn't resonate with me. I thought it did at first but it's a mishmash of hellenization and Hebrew religion. I also think their whole "metaphysical" trinitarian ideas are nonsensical. What attracted me to orthodox at first was the spirituality aspect of things. But I've come to learn on my own what biblical spiritualism is. Things such as prayer, incense, fasting, being away in the woods from people and dedicating myself to God is spiritual. I'm practicing my shofar blowing. I have recently rejected Paul as an apostate to the Law so I can't follow any Christian assembly, be it Protestant, Catholicism or Orthodox. For me, keeping the commandments of God and being Holy is important. Not praying to saints or just keeping up with the joneses not doing anything without showing appreciation to God. The ultimate appreciation that we could ever give to Him is to obey Him, for obedience shows who your allegiance is to. Edit: there had to have been a law prior to Moses, otherwise Abraham and Noah wouldn't have known what clean/unclean was, or how to sacrifice. Even God said Abraham kept all his laws, statues and commandments. Genesis 26:5 because Abraham listened to My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” In Hebrew, it says Torah. So, there was definitely God's law before Moses. Levtical? Obviously not but thats beside the point. That's why I reject Paul and his letters.

Shalom! I appreciate your comment. Very well out and much resonates with me which is why I could’ve ever convert into orthodoxy. But if someone is choosing a Christian route I would advise to stick toward orthodox side of things personally. In regards to seeing Paul as an apostate to the Law I have been seeing this trend in the last few years. I have my view of course however I always wonder for those who keep Peter and James do you try to find their succession or any of their writings not included in the few cannons that exist? In my search it’s almost as though the churches that were under those two but especially James seem to have no records/writings. Curious to know if you’ve found any additional teachings from James or Peter.
@MinisterRedPill
@MinisterRedPill Жыл бұрын
@@zarahilluminate The problem with their writings (mainly Peters) is that they have been hugely distorted. The Ethiopians preserved a majority of the apostolic writings, specifically regarding church halacha. The writings all seem to have been presented by Clement, disciple of Peter. Things like the Book of Clement, Constitutions of the Apostles, church orders, the respective acts of some of the Apostles, the "Testament of the Lord", and such, all of these presents Yeshua giving orders to Peter and choosing which apostle to go out to the world to spread the gospel. Yeshua gives them the order during his 40 days on eatth before leaving. The pseudo clementines (probably best preserved in the Syriac Clementine recognitions) would probably preserve much of Peter's discourses and journeys. But all of the text has some embellishment by the church to hide the fact that Peter and the others were not really for Paul. Another work called "Book of the rolls" has sections where you see enmity between Peter and John toward Paul, and toward the end Clement and Peter put a seal on their writings and pronouncing a curse on Paul and anyone of his followers if they used their writings. One day, I intend to go over these works and correct them, because in many ways it's easy to see the corruptions that the church made, in other areas its not as easy. If Yeshua sent his 12 into the world to spread the gospel, then what need would there have been of Paul? Makes no sense. I have not determined if Simon Magus and Paul were the same person. Still figuring that out. My journey is basically trying to find the true faith, to do what's pleasing to Yah. So far, I'm leaning more towards Ebionism. The Zadokites from Qumran called themselves Ebionites and I know John the Baptist and Yeshua were aware of those people, considering they followed the 364 Solar calendar (and explains why John and the 3 Gospels "contradicts" the crucifixion events). Yeshua and his disciples kept the true biblical calendar while the corrupt Sadducees pushed the lunar sabbath calendar. John was recording the passover in regards to the typical Jewish passover while the synoptic Gospels recorded the biblical passover. Anyway, I'm getting ahead in my rant. But I find that we are apparently on the same journey so I hope this information has helped you. By Yah, I know the truth will be revealed.

Trinity is a union of 2 words.Tri and unity.It is self explanatory...but to explain a bit ....Have this example .when we say Sun ....There is one sun....but it has three natures ...the brightness,The heat and the circle.We don't say three suns tho but one....Just because it reaches you it is not seperated .The brightness is seen by your eyes....The heat reaches you and you feel it on your skin...does it mean one of the separate sun reaches you? No it is the Sun ....all in all.In all the three natures the Sun is one.In trinity ,God the son gets born to save us.The holyspirit dwelt on the apostles in forms of flame and God the father from the sky witnessed Our lord Christ is his son....By nature The son of God is God...Trinity is not polytheism .It is not easy to understand if you are inclined to your thoughts but it is if you pray to God to reveal it to you and search for it genuinely 😊✝️ (From Ethiopia.)

Western Christians tend to follow a haphazard explanation of the Trinity that both eastern and western church would call heresy (insert three leaf clover, water phase example, etc). The Catholic Church introduced great confusion with the insertion of the Filioque (the idea that the Spirit proceeds from the Father AND Son). Originally the expression was built upon the premise of essence and energies and stated in no uncertain terms that the spirit proceeds from The Father alone. There’s no two big bosses. Jesus was never The Most High (The Father) but shared in God energy and essence. Still shaky for me personally but much better and far less rising that polytheism (distinction) line. Iraneus held a view of subordination of the Son in essence and energy and is much more biblical of you ask me.
